The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey 'The Dragon Is on Your Mind' Clip
Following the 13-minute featurette from earlier today, Warner Bros. has unveiled a new clip from The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, featuring a character we haven't seen since The Lord of The Rings: The Two Towers, Christopher Lee's Saruman. This scene features Saruman, Gandalf (Ian McKellen), Galadriel (Cate Blanchett), and Elrond (Hugo Weaving) sitting on the council at Rivendell, where Gandalf explains his desire to help Thorin Oakenshield (Richard Armitage). Take a look at this clip where Gandalf ironically warns Saruman about the power of Sauron and the dragon Smaug.
The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey was released December 14th, 2012 and stars Ian McKellen, Martin Freeman, Richard Armitage, Ken Stott, Graham McTavish, William Kircher, James Nesbitt, Stephen Hunter. The film is directed by Peter Jackson.

Agreed, @redcameraman and @gandoff2169. It would appear that, if this scene is any indication of the movie as a whole, the Hobbit, while understandably more adventurous and light-hearted, will carry the same weight and lasting dialogue that bolstered the Lord of the Rings films so well. It helps that the cast (including the ancient Christopher Lee) will pay the films dialouge the same respects they did LotR.

@narrator: Same here! Great to see these actors again, especially Christopher Lee whom I was getting worried about at first when they were filming, because of how he's 90 years old right now!

@narrator I watched in 4 times in a row. And on the fourth time, I realized I was mouthing the words where I had already began to memorize it. lol. The work looks on par with LOTR's.

Damn... Jackson hasn't lost his touch for amazing scenic shots, nor has the cast lost touch with their characters. Seeing a meeting like this, even without the other four wizards, is otherworldly types of awesome. WETA is once again going above and beyond for their captain, and I can't wait to see how this plays out in 48 FPS.
