Chad Michael Murray and Katee Sackhoff join The Haunting in Georgia
The Haunting in Georgia was written by written by David Coggeshall, and will be directed by Tom Elkins.
The four play the members of the real-life Wyrick family, beleaguered by ghosts and a terrifying mystery that haunts their new home.
Chad Michael Murray portrays Andy Wyrick, the blue collar, no-nonsense husband toAbigail Spencer's Lisa Wyrick, a young mother struggling with horrifying visions, a curse she shares with her wayward sister Joyce (Katee Sackhoff) and now fears has been passed on to her young daughter Heidi (Emily Alyn Lind). Cicely Tyson has also signed on.
The Haunting in Georgia's predecessor, 2009's The Haunting in Connecticut, scared up the No. 1 spot at the box office on its opening weekend. Gold Circle saw it had the makings of a franchise on its hands and set about finding another true story it could tackle.
The Haunting in Georgia begins production in Baton Rouge later this month.
The Haunting in Georgia was released in 2011 and stars Chad Michael Murray, Katee Sackhoff, Abigail Spencer, Emily Alyn Lind. The film is directed by Tom Elkins.

...Georgia? Could they have picked a less terrifying state? The Haunting in Wisconsin, or The Hauting in Vermont, or even The Haunting in Kentucky. All of those have a horrific ring to them (no offense :P). Georgia? No.
