The Green Hornet Pushed Back Two Weeks

Columbia Pictures is shuffling its release date deck for next summer. According to eRc Box Office, the studio has moved The Green Hornet up from June 25, 2010, to July 9, 2010.

The studio is filling the June 25 slot with another summer film, the Adam Sandler vehicle Grown Ups. No other film is slated for release on that date, as of yet.

The Green Hornet will now open opposite Robert Rodriguez's Predators remake and the animated film Despicable Me.

The Green Hornet was released January 14th, 2011 and stars Seth Rogen, Jay Chou, Cameron Diaz, Tom Wilkinson, Christoph Waltz, David Harbour, Edward James Olmos, Jamie Harris. The film is directed by Michel Gondry.

screw adam sandler. He's 'settled' for the lowest common laugh factor.

as for GREEN HORNET, it's going to take more than 2 more weeks to save this borefest.

i don't think all movies that get pushed back end up suckin, but u did qualify it by saying pushed back multiple times. and i just can't think of anything that has been pushed back more then once off the top of my head. i was goin to say Star Trek, cuz that was supposed to come out this past christmas and was obviously moved to May, and that rocked.

either way two weeks isn't a big deal at all to me. i'll have to wait for a trailer b4 i decide if i want to see this anyway.

Well, I heard a lot of people were just tired of the Terminator movies. That's why Terminator 4 didn't do so well. And why wasn't AVP 2 such a big hit. I'd be really surprised if that will be a big hit.

I have never heard the words or any phrase like "I'm tired of Predator." Out of the three, I'll be seeing Predators.

At this point, I really don't care.
Although, I'd rather see this film over Predators.

Harry Potter was only pushed back once. This is the second time Green Hornet has been pushed back. No offense, Vis, but people are tired of Predator. I doubt it will really be something to compete against.

"Up" in movie terms implies it coming out sooner. Imagine January as the "top" of the calendar.

"The Green Hornet Pushed Back Two Weeks"

I think they mean "Up Two Weeks"

It's gonna be a tough competition with Predators, but Green Hornet will probably come out on top just because of Seth Rogan. Average joes don't seem to be interested in Predator anymore.

Well, i guess i know what going to be crap for sure next year. Any movie that constantly gets pushed back like this turns out being pure crap.

a later release in July is becoming common, last year TDK came out when July 18? and harry potter 6 is July 15, they know competition is all in May and July 1 so after that is sh*t movies like GI Joe
