@moviefreak97 -- Ah, all right. I feel compelled to ask anyway, something you can keep in-mind and answer as you finish the books. I would like to ask for permission to ask this question; because I don't want it to be true and since you haven't read all the books, spoil it for you.

@XxNickTheFilmCriticXx Now THAT I cannot answer as I've only seen the first Swedish film and am only just now reading the second book. There is a twist however at the end of the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and of course, I will not spoil that for you :P

@moviefreak97 -- Doesn't the twist come forward at the end of the trilogy? Because I heard David Fincher may direct the other two films to the franchise.

@XxNickTheFilmCriticXx Well, then. As soon as the film comes out and you see it, let me know if you were right :)

@moviefreak97 -- I'm too nervous to do so, because I think I may be actually right about it, even though it would be a very odd twist....

@XxNickTheFilmCriticXx The Swedish version is a damn fine thriller, don't get me wrong, but because it was technically a miniseries, it's somewhat lacking the overall polish of a true silver screen project, something feel this version has down pat. And yes, there is a tremendous twist in the film and if you think you've figured it out by the trailers, please direct me to your clues because I haven't seen any. And I've read the book as well as seen the Swedish version.

@moviefreak97 -- Right on, concerning your comment toward @2movieguys. So, the Swedish version wasn't completely based on the book? Oh, and one more thing. Is there a major 'twist' in 'The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo'? I don't want to know what it is, but if there is one, I think I may have found it out, due to the trailers.

Does anybody know what the negotiated run time for this film is?

@XxNickTheFilmCriticXx Don't worry about it being too close to the Swedish film. From what I've seen, it's very much its own movie and actually closer to the book.

Talk about a combo of marketin gover-kill and giving away 1/2 of the plot!
I don't think the American films will hold the same punch as the Swedish films!

Brilliant. Love this marketing move.

@corey -- Oh, of course. I'm just wondering if it's going to be extremely close to the material as 'Let Me In' was(hopefully not as much as a shot-for-shot remake, which got annoying at points). If David Fincher plans on staying loyal for one film, I'm sure he'll remain loyal for the rest of the films. If he directs them, that is.
Let's pray he does..

@XxNickTheFilmCriticXx It remains as close to the book/Swedish film as close as possible from what I've seen. I'm stoked! Yes, I've seen the 2nd and 3rd film as well, but I can't say if those are loyal or not until they start getting made. haha

@corey -- All of them? If so, how close is the premise to the Swedish version? It seems as if this will be like a 'Let Me In'/'Let The Right One In' kind of thing.

I've seen the Swedish film so this spoils nothing to me. Awesome trailer.

@moviefreak97 Gahh stop tempting me brah =P But don't worry, Seeing David Fincher and Daniel Craig attatched to this was enough marketing for me.

@moviefreak97 Well that combined with the 4 minute trailer @bawnian-dexeus was talking about will surely give away some plot points, I think I'll wait.

I think I'll wait too -or at least try to wait-, the 3 minute trailer was awfully spoilerly.
