The Game Plan Tops the Sales and Rental Charts

It seems that Disney had the right The Game Plan for DVD.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, The Game Plan topped both the sales and rental charts for the week ending January 27. The Disney DVD sold 67% more than the second-place DVD, Saw IV, which also took third in the rentals.

Last week's top seller, Family Guy: Blue Harvest dropped to third in sales and Good Luck Chuck dropped from second to fourth place.

The Game Plan was the top rental last week, taking in an estimated $10.2 million in rental revenue. Good Luck Chuck dropped one spot to second place with an estimated $9.2 million in rentals. Saw IV debuted in third place for rentals with $8.2 million.

Saw IV did manage to top the Blu-Ray charts, while The Bourne Ultimatum topped the HD DVD charts.
