Samuel Goldwyn Films has released the first trailer for The First Time, a new romantic comedy from writer-director Jon Kasdan (In the Land of Women). Dylan O'Brien and Britt Robertson star as Dave and Aubrey, two high school students who fall for each other, despite Dylan's desire for a girl beyond his reach, and Aubrey's relationship with her uninterested boyfriend. Take a look at the first footage, also starring Victoria Justice and Joshua Malina.

The First Time - Trailer

Dave is a high school senior who spends most of his time pining away over a girl he can't have. Aubrey, a junior with artistic aspirations, has a hot boyfriend who doesn't quite understand her or seem to care. Dave and Aubrey meet one night at a party. A casual conversation sparks an instant connection, and, over the course of a weekend, things turn magical, romantic, complicated and funny as Aubrey and Dave discover what it's like to fall in love for the first time.

The First Time was released October 19th, 2012 and stars Dylan O'Brien, Britt Robertson, Craig Roberts, Maggie Elizabeth Jones, Lamarcus Tinker, Christine Taylor, Joshua Malina, Victoria Justice. The film is directed by Jon Kasdan.

I like it, except they should have done without the "Honestly?" joke, it's the kind of stuff writers include in their scripts they think is so witty but it ends up sounding forced and falls flat.
