The First Dragonball Evolution International Trailer Arrives!

Fans of the Dragonball series have been waiting to see action shots from the upcoming film adaptation Dragonball Evolution and the studio has finally released the first trailer for the film thanks to IGN.

Dragonball Evolution is based off the Akira Toryama manga comic and the film stars Justin Chatwin, James Marsters, Jamie Chung, Emmy Rossum, Eriko Tamura, Joon Park, Chow Yun-Fat, Texas Battle, Randall Duk Kim and Ernie Hudson. The film is set to open on April 10, 2009.

Dragonball Evolution was released April 10th, 2009 and stars Justin Chatwin, Chow Yun-Fat, Emmy Rossum, Jamie Chung, James Marsters, Joon Park, Eriko Tamura, Randall Duk Kim. The film is directed by James Wong.

    Could be good. It definitely won't be anything like the cartoon.

    effects surely taken care of really carefully. I thought it would suck at first but god this will make me say damn it's gonna be good in effects.
    I surely can't wait for this one, honestly only for the effects nothing else. I was not a fan of the anime but I guess I will start watching it sometimes soon. I dunno It seems nice. fun, entertaining.

    i'm really deeply sorry guys, but i loved it. With the teaser, i was as septical as you but with THAT ... OMG ... the special effects looks like cartoon. It looks like they put the anime on film, literraly and about the dialogues, lets face it, dragonball isnt F*CKING SHAKESPEARE and never been. I'm sure it will not be the 2009 SAINT GRAAL but there is chance that it will be a fun adventure. And you know : it's all i want ... BTW i'm french, so i dont expect you give my opinion a lot of credit LOL

    This looks good and all but it's just not Dragonball. Piccolo is the last enemy he faces in the Dragonball series. What the hell? And where Launch? Ha. I will see it, but I don't think it'll remind me of Dragonball.

    Ok, starting to look good now, the first trailer made me lose a lot of faith in this film but this trailer restored some of my confidence. Finally Piccolo is green!!!lol glad to see that he's the way he should be. I also like the change in the title, although this is the third title they've had for the movie, the first one was Dragonball Z, then Dragonball, now Dragonball Evolution, I like it hope it turns out to be a good film, it looks like it just might be.

    ok there is a God He is finally green!!! but Mai working for Piccolo??? She works for Pilaf and I don't think she ever has the power to look like other people. Well aleast Gohan( Grandpap) looks like his anime counterpart. this brought me back to a 50/50 ill wait a few days after it comes out.
