maybe it's good, boubtful but maybe. regardless i am sick of remakes. seriously go after something new/original. stop taking classics and trying to update them or make them better. Continuing the story (Star Trek - which kept the story and changed it in one movie) is better than rebooting a tired franchise.

That is about the only interesting thing running for this film ATM.
But Jackie Earle Hayley, ain't worth seeing this film for, i'll watch it online, because i knowing that i'm walking in to see a remake of my fav film, will juss piss me right off.
Give it time, when i get to Hollywood, i'll make 'A Dream On Elm St' this will remake will then cease to exist. :)

"According to Moneyshot, Mr. Haley was a class act on the set and super-nice with all the kids when they weren't shooting the scenes."
I'm really glad they told me that, because up at first I was working under the impression that the actor was running around the set leaving a trail of eviscerated children in his wake. Seriously.

I am looking forward to this film desperately J.A. So there, someone is. And no, I'm not joking. These set pictures never manage to stoke me. I want a picture of what Jackie Earl Haley will look like as Fretty Krueger, and I want one STAT!!!!!

Can i see a raise of hands of people that are actually interested in this...
LMAO, listen to how this scene proceeds to happen within the film...
--------------------
including a side-shot of actor Jackie Earle Haley as Freddy Krueger himself below. The scene that was being shot must have been a flashback sequence in which Krueger sans make-up (or killer blades on his fingers) is playing with some pre-school kids at the Badham pre-school (also seen below). Note how the color of his shirt is different than in previous ELM STREET flicks (brown/beige versus green/red) and the white picket fence. Classic.
The scene apparently featured Freddy playing hide and seek with the kids in the playground (nice), as they stole his hat and gloves. Every now and again, he'd pick up a gardening tool with his right hand and chase the kids around (wink, wink). Oh Freddy!!

Can i get a WTF? EPIC FAIL

They certianly do look like origin photos, as Freddy doesn't look f*cked up there and he's in a playground. But an April 2010 release date in conjunction with "The Expendables" and Springtime in general seem to be factors that could kill this film revnue-wise...(F13 nailed $64,997,188 but I'm convinced it coulda made more if released in summer or preferably october). This remake sounds a bit overdue though, so we'll see how it turns out.
