Lionsgate has released the first trailer for The Expendables 2, which arrives in theaters nationwide August 17. The Expendables are back and this time it's personal... Barney Ross (Sylvester Stallone), Lee Christmas (Jason Statham), Yin Yang (Jet Li), Gunnar Jensen (Dolph Lundgren), Toll Road (Randy Couture) and Hale Caesar (Terry Crews) -- with newest members Billy the Kid (Liam Hemsworth) and Maggie (Nan Yu) aboard -- are reunited when Mr. Church (Bruce Willis) enlists the Expendables to take on a seemingly simple job. The task looks like an easy paycheck for Barney and his band of old-school mercenaries. But when things go wrong and one of their own is viciously killed, the Expendables are compelled to seek revenge in hostile territory where the odds are stacked against them. Hell-bent on payback, the crew cuts a swath of destruction through opposing forces, wreaking havoc and shutting down an unexpected threat in the nick of time -- six pounds of weapons-grade plutonium; enough to change the balance of power in the world. But that's nothing compared to the justice they serve against the villainous adversary who savagely murdered their brother. That is done the Expendables way....

The Expendables 2 comes to theaters August 17th, 2012 and stars Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Bruce Willis, Liam Hemsworth, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Chuck Norris, Jet Li. The film is directed by Simon West.

    @thedude-abides -- Yeah. I missed out on A LOT because I've been using my Xbox 360 more than anything since Christmas(Skyrim and BF3 rock). Now, I'm trying to catch up on this website and I'm spending a lot less time on the Xbox 360.

    Maybe it's just me, but I thought Bruce's opening monologue was sucky. From the way he acted it out, I was expecting a punchline that never came. Instead, it was a roll call HA HA But I'm still excited about this film.

    I think ive watched this trailer 50 times since last night. I hope we can see these guys put some boots to asses, I want to see Chuck Norris fighting and looking forward to seeing Jean kick Sly's ass.
    Of all the Hemsworths, it had to be Liam, not feeling that, but what the hell, its the Expendables 2 baby!!
