The Evil Dead remake set for release April 12, 2013
The story revolves around a group of friends who venture up to a remote cabin, where they discover the Book of the Dead. They must fight to survive when a demonic force is unleashed after the book is read. We reported in October that the lead character brings his sister up to the cabin, to help kick her drug habit.
Federico Alvarez is directing The Evil Dead remake from a script he co-wrote with Rodolfo Sayagues. Diablo Cody performed a rewrite on the remake. Sam Raimi, Robert G. Tapert, and Bruce Campbell are producing.
Production is scheduled to begin in early 2012.
The Evil Dead comes to theaters April 12th, 2013 and stars Jane Levy, Shiloh Fernandez, Lou Taylor Pucci, Jessica Lucas, Elizabeth Blackmore. The film is directed by Federico Alvarez.

I dont understand why the hell we are remaking this movie? Its a classic and i believe dont fix which isnt broke......curiosity will get the better of me but i wont enjoy it as much as the original x

I never even found the first movie all that special. Was it good? Yeah but nothing great. Hopefully they can bring something different to this remake that makes it enjoyable.
