Last week, a report surfaced which indicated part of The Dark Knight Rises' New York City shoot may take place at the Occupy Wall Street protest. Today, a Warner Bros. representative shot down the report, saying there are no plans to film at Zuccotti Park, the central location for Occupy Wall Street's protests.

The Dark Knight Rises will start production in New York City on October 29. Back in September, a casting call was released for The Dark Knight Rises' New York City shoot, which sought out extras with martial arts or law enforcement training. That casting call also indicated production will run from October 29 through November 11 in the Big Apple.

Christopher Nolan is directing The Dark Knight Rises from a script he co-wrote with Jonathan Nolan and David S. Goyer.

The Dark Knight Rises was released July 20th, 2012 and stars Tom Hardy, Christian Bale, Anne Hathaway, Liam Neeson, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Gary Oldman, Marion Cotillard, Morgan Freeman. The film is directed by Christopher Nolan.

@sean Thanks but it was a rhetorical question referencing the last false rumor (of which there seem to be many lately) about scenes from The Avengers being filmed with an iPhone.
