The Dark Knight Rises Viral Campaign Reveals Harvey Dent Day in Gotham
The Dark Knight Rises viral campaign is in full swing, with the Mountain Dw tie-in site DewGothamCity.com posting three "pages" from the Gotham City newspaper Gotham Observer. These photos reveal that Gotham City is planning Harvey Dent Day, to honor Aaron Eckhart's fallen character from The Dark Knight. One of the pages also features an ad for Rykin Data, which leads to the fake company's official website that reveals an intriguing patent application. Take a look at these photos and see if you can decipher any hidden clues (there are some nice "plot" hints in the Gotham Daily Horoscope) from director Christopher Nolan's Batman finale.

The Dark Knight Rises was released July 20th, 2012 and stars Tom Hardy, Christian Bale, Anne Hathaway, Liam Neeson, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Gary Oldman, Marion Cotillard, Morgan Freeman. The film is directed by Christopher Nolan.

@zender: As far as rebooting the franchise goes, I doubt they'll retell the origin story in any great detail. It was too perfect in "Begins" to waste time retelling it. More like the new franchise will have the same tone and feel as this trilogy, except it'll just get started with a new story, kinda like how "Batman Returns" just starts up with no origins or reminders of who's who. Sure they'll probably tip the hat to Batman's origin, but I'd bet they'd get involved in a new story quicker and it'll be like the new franchise are batman films that would still have taken place in his early years. In this franchise, Batman was active for only 6 months before an 8yr absence, and who knows how long this film takes place over.
As for Two-Face, I thought they did him justice since it played in perfectly to the Joker's philosophy in how pathetic Dent became. I mean he took on the mob, and just cause his fiancee died (like many others probably did at the hands of the mob) he goes awol on everyone, making him a perfect example of the hilarity that the Joker was talking about. That one little thing can throw you outta whack. For realistically, there was nothing else that could've been done with Two-Face without branching into the corny areas from some of the comics. I mean it doesn't make any sense for a guy who hates the mob to run off and make one of his own. He goes awol against the mob which tied in perfectly to the Dent storyline. There was little else he could do without it getting ridiculous since the realistic Two-Face isn't a super villain, nor would be a formidable foe for Batman. He's not insane or carefree like the Joker, nor built like Bane, nor armed with an anarchist philosophy. He's just a pathetic guy who let the Joker go simply cause he suggested that he wasn't fully responsible for killing his fiancee. Not very smart considering that Dent had been trying to stop the Joker within the past few days, to just let him walk away. By martyrizing Dent you get half the premise of this film. The trailers are loaded with Dent honorings if you will. Dent day plays into that, the notion that he changed the city for the better, and that Bane uses Dent as an example in front of City Hall as released photos indicate. So in another franchise with less reality, then sure, Two-Face could work as a villain, but in this trilogy it worked out perfectly.

In the last two years I've been offered to be on quite a number of TV shows, however I lack in the financial part to go to the states which grounds me in the Toronto area.
I've had a harder time here in Canada of finding jobs and I still don't have a true agent. They are out for money, I've encountered maybe 60% of resistance.
it just gets me upset, I just wish that video auditions would catch on up here but no the Canadian Industry doesn't want it.

In the last month a lone, I've been getting requests for video auditions from Hollywood. I've done over 30 and 25 of them asked me to be a part of them.
Things run differently up here, in over a year I haven't worked as an actor. Been a camera operator, been a stage manager and have written two screen plays.
I've had more offers in Hollywood in the past month than the last two years in Canada.

@zender so true. Although i enjoy a lot of the tripe Hollywood puts out i find that more and more i am leaning toward indie/foriegn films for substance.

I'm going to go say that the burglaries are by Catwoman. They fit her character perfectly.

@skywise agreed, but Nolan could have set it up for a fourth film for someone else to direct instead, however I would have preferred a seven to eight films just like Harry Potter.
Rebooting everything in sight is making me angry at Hollywood and I'm considering never to make films in the states. I'm finding independent films are a lot more entertaining lately than some gimmick Hollywood comes up with.

@zender I really thinkg that Two Face could have carried a movie as the main villian and i agree, there was a wasted oppurtunity there. But it was really just a plot device to show how depraved joker was and to allow Batman to do what he had to do at the end.

I hated that scene, Nolan could have made done so much more with that one character but no they had to kill him. Unless the characters lied.
Riddler at the end, that would be sweet to see but they are rebooting the entire series which is so unnecessary. I swear Hollywood is getting sloppy lately and not in a good way.

@zender That would be awesome but sadly he is dead. They should show the Riddler near the end. Set up the next movie.

I would so laugh if Two-face showed up at the end of the film, just before the credits, but that's too much to ask for.
