Cut to Gordon in a hospital bed laying on his side. Looks to be in serious pain. Has A breathing mask on. Is talking to someone.
Gordon: We were in this together, then you were gone.......Now this Evil rises. The Batman.....HAS to come back.(all this is said in a very raspy voice, in much pain)
Bruce/Batman(its not shown who he's talking to, so don't know in which form Bruce is visiting him in. My guess would be as Bruce Wayne) : What if he doesn't exist anymore?
This part is the hardest to understand in the entire trailer, I listened to it at least 10 times but the score is over powering here and Gordon is having trouble talking. It sounds like if says Humor me while trying to laugh. I might be wrong here, full disclosure.
During this quick talk we're shown a shot of the bat cycle when it drives up the ramp from Dark Knight, Gordon destroying the Act Signal all cut in with the Hospital. As well as super fast flashes of Bane's face.
Pan up crumbling buildings to reveal the teaser poster, the camera zooms to the white opening and on an all white screen the title appears. The score reaches a fever pitch before turning over to The chanting from the website.

The Dark Knight Rises comes to theaters July 20th, 2012 and stars Liam Neeson, Tom Hardy, Christian Bale, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Anne Hathaway, Gary Oldman, Aidan Gillen, Marion Cotillard. The film is directed by Christopher Nolan.

AND for the record, yes they did only sign on for 3 movies, however you really dont think they would return if Nolan decides he wants another? You are out of your mind. Bale already stated he would be back if Nolan is back. They all will be if it is meant to be. If WB gives Nolan the greenlight for two or three of his own movies in order for another Batman, it will happen. Never say never in this industry.

For all of those speculating about more Batman movies to follow, "The Dark Knight Rises," is the last installment for Nolan, Bale, Caine, Freeman, and Oldman; they only signed on for 3. Nolan will end the Batman trilogy that he created; this way it won't be ruined.

Trailer is awesome.. my guess is that when you see bane and the Bat in the trailor that's the first time that Batman runs into him ...then Gordan is talking to Bruce who has gotten hurt doing some crazy sport but we all know its from bane and is laying in the Hospital bed right next to Gordan.. what ya think??

Here's what i gotta say. Nolan always gives us good anticipation for all the batman movies. But how the hell is this a conclusion when they haven't even scratched the surface of all batman's villain's or storylines....you still got penguin, riddler, etc..

@skywise - it is true. As much as I hope they will all return (glass is half full outlook), I have a feeling they will recast. I just hope they dont do a complete reboot. Take their time on the script. Higher legit players like Nolan did, and hire another amazing director. If not they might as well call good ole Joel back.
