The Dark Knight Rises Trailer
The Dark Knight Rises comes to theaters July 20th, 2012 and stars Liam Neeson, Tom Hardy, Christian Bale, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Anne Hathaway, Gary Oldman, Aidan Gillen, Marion Cotillard. The film is directed by Christopher Nolan.

@mastercheifFTW, the dude in the coma is Commish. Gordon all beat to hell. If you check out the other story "The Dark Knight Rises trailer description he explains it pretty good. It's Gordon talking to Bruce Wayne/Batman saying "We were in this together, then you left. Now, this evil rises. The Batman needs to come back." Bruce replies, "What if he doesn't exist anymore?l Gordon says: "He must, he must." Sad that I know this by heart, can't stop watching this trailer. Can't wait.

@bane5000 - Good guesses, but i think it could be Joseph Gordon-Levitt aka Roman Sionis. I forgot that he was even in the movie, mainly because of Bane & Catwoman. But Nolan has a way of surprising us, so god knows who that is.
@themoviefanatic - Very cool indeed. And like ayaottley & Bane said, the full Dark Knight trailer was released around Christmas the last time around. I actually forgot, i was just going about it on a promotion stand point.

Loved every second of this trailer. I'm also starting to think one of Nolan's "possible" twists would be that Gordon knew the Batman was Bruce Wayne all along, especially when saying "we were in this together." My ultimate wish would be to use Joseph Gordon-Levitt in some dark Arkham scenes as Joker. I know out of respect for Heath & his family Nolan said he wouldn't, but with Nolan we could never predict what really goes through that mind of his. I do know for a fact no matter what happens, this film will not let down. It would have not been made if it weren't equal to or greater than TDK. Dang, a year of patience. Batman Begins, TDK & Inception will have to hold me down for now. Thank God Arkham City is coming out soon. I'll need the distraction.

@skywise Bane does that indeed but that doesn't mean it'll happen in the movie.
It is interesting to see a trailer so soon and I absolutely love the last few seconds with the buildings. But to me personally, the Bane mask is a little disheartening...I was hoping for full on Black Masochistic Luchardor Deluxe

I never said the film is released nor ask you about the film, I asked you to see if Bale and Wayne are the same height!
You aren't talking about the teaser you're talking about the database and TDKR and comparing them, so calm down mate and watch something else if Nolan has pissed you off by not employing a 6'8 body builder who can also act and carry an entire movie as the main villain!

@Number1Wolverine...Alot of people are trying to figure if the guy in the back of Bats has any significance to the movie, i have a few guesses to what it could be...
Maybe during that scene Batman is battling Bane somewhere inside Arkham Asylum, and the guy in the back is one of many inmates witnessing the fight, and could be where the chanting " THIS IS ARKHAM " comes from as they cheer Bane on to kick Batmans ass
Or the battle is taking place in the streets of Gotham, as a way for Bane to beat down Batman and humiliate him in public in front of onlookers, as that man in the back may be a citizen amongst others who are witnessing Batman getting handled by Bane
but remember, these are just guesses :]

@themoviefanatic - Idk, but it didn't take The Dark Knight that long after the teaser trailer came out to come out with the official trailer. So probably around christmas time, since everybody likes to promote their movie around that time.

If anything i kinda liked the teaser to the dark knight more when all we could hear was alfred bruce and jokers voice in the background...felt like it gave it more hype not knowing what the joker looked like, and just knowing sh*t was going to go down just listening to the dialog. But i liked this trailer too, any trailer tht gives you the chills up ur spine is a great trailer

My guess is, is that this movie is going to be the number 1 movie of the year! But who is that guy talking in the hospital and wat does he say? Well that aside I think he rises to the task of getting his suit back on and becoming a hero again to kill bane, and to let the city of gotham know who he really is.... Bruce Wayne!
