The Dark Knight Rises Photos with Tom Hardy as Bane at Heinz Field!

The Dark Knight Rises production continued over the weekend at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh, where they were shooting a high school football scene. Tom Hardy made an appearance in full costume as Bane, where he addressed the stadium crowd. Take a look at these new photos, which feature the most up close and personal look at Tom Hardy's Bane in The Dark Knight Rises.

The Dark Knight Rises comes to theaters July 20th, 2012 and stars Liam Neeson, Tom Hardy, Christian Bale, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Anne Hathaway, Gary Oldman, Aidan Gillen, Marion Cotillard. The film is directed by Christopher Nolan.

    @sean oh i see what you are saying those probarly toms real tattoos but when they start the movie they will be edited or they will put make up on his skin to cover up the tattoos. i was shaking my head like i dont remember bane ever having tattoos i was about to ask my comic book historians ejk1 and bawns if they know if bane ever had a tattoo lol thanks for explaining it to me sean

    I love the complete lack of special effects knowledge in some of these "effects proposal" comments. There is no CGI involved in enhancement effects like de-aging (like in X-Men 3) or stature reduction (like in Captain America). They use complex keyframing--and go frame by frame and manipulate the image. It's basically rotoscoping.

    In any case, that would look visually unnatural/silly. And I doubt this movie will do that.

    People calm down... Look at the first pic of Tom as Bane... there are no tattos... and he looks a lot bigger than this new pics... and even if he ends up looking like that in the final product... Im pretty sure he is gonna be perfect... just remember when Nolan cast Heath Ledger no body thought he would pull it off as the joker. but he did and he was the best joker i have seen. just TRUST IN NOLAN!!!

    @Nautical i agree or else they would atleast attempt to cover the tattoos with make up if his muscles were gonna be the same size, but if your CGing the whole arm u dont need to physically cover them up - Nolan has already displayed his beautiful understanding of CG on Harvey Dent's face in TDK and all the fear toxin affects in BB

    you have to be realistic though.. in the comics he's so freakishly huge that no human could end up looking like that. Bane still looks tough in my opinion. and for the people who say he doesnt look big enough.. id bet any one of you aren't as strong as he is right now. he put in a lot of work to get in shape for Bane so perhaps we should all cut him some slack

    i was begining to think that maybe JUST MAYBE.. this is bane b4 he got big and buff. like sum how hes evil and all but hes a reg guy, then he becomes the big bad bane, later in the film. I too dont like the looks i see in him yet, i liked the bane from "batman & robin" ALOT better!. sadly that movie was badly writen, i would have liked to c that very same bane but in a much darker and badder side in this movie unlike that movie where he was a big strong idiot.

    I'm going to be honest. Batman Begins was a cpr to this series. The Dark Knight was a classic like the 1989 Batman. Now thats out of the way, I'm going to say this nice and calm for all the Nolan fanboys. Bane's outfit sucks. It doesn't even look like bane; he looks like Kano from Mortal Kombat Deception. The reason the last films worked as a good adaption is becuz thr joker, scarecrow, ras al, & two-face looks like their comic book counter parts.

    I know this guy will fear many on screen but the reality is.. Not to be mean but bane doesnt scare me, thats a stupid costume, it looks like abunch of crap gattered by a homeless person on a street corner. Seriouly This punk is the wrong guy for the job, yes i said PUNK!. Bane is suposed to b a big fat guy who could beat up a guy like terminator, freddy, jason, micheal myers, and YES, batman lol. With all those stupid tattos on his arms, he reminds me of 1 odf those idiots from an old friday the 13th movie who gets killed easily, lol
