The Dark Knight Rises comes to theaters July 20th, 2012 and stars Liam Neeson, Tom Hardy, Christian Bale, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Anne Hathaway, Gary Oldman, Aidan Gillen, Marion Cotillard. The film is directed by Christopher Nolan.

    Didn't think much of JGL during his 3rd Rock days.
    Must be since i was too young to care, but after seeing Inception I know this guy will pull off whatever Nolan needs him to do.... or not do.

    @ghostman oh you know it! Of course i am excited, hard not to be but at the same time...part of me wants it to be all surprises. As much as i say i want to avoid the marketing and any sneak peaks or behind the scenes....i am a sucker for that stuff. So ya i am definatly looking forward to that.

    @ghostman your right, he really does keep us on out toes. I think he loves that and to be honest i love it too. It makes final product unpredictable. He is really good at that.

    @skywise if you remember from the trailer, Gordon said that "we were in this together" so that makes me think that the three were working together and that he knows Wayne is Batman and so does JGLs character. Nolan really keeps us on our toes with are TDKR theories lol

    @ghostman @newtron Nolan really has a genius way of making of foam at the mouth. I just cant wait to see what REALLY happens but @ghostman has a good point. He will probably figure out who the bat is and then keep the secret. However, if this is the route they go i have a feeling that JGL will not make it, creating even more stress for batman and his idea aof allowing others to work with him (since that is basicaly a death sentence). I cant wait to see this.

    @skywise @newtron yeah remember what he said a out Catwoman not being it the film and would never include that character in his Batman movies, well he did it anyway. @jayaottley has stated he is not Nightwing or Robin, so I'll stay true to my word and say his character knows that Bruce Wayne is Batman.

    @skywise: Very true, indeed. I was just thinking this. There are a lot of things Chris Nolan has said he wouldn't do in his films, but like you said, he may just be messing with out heads. I can't wait for this movie.

    He is quickly becoming one of my favorite actors.

    A lot of you all seem to think he will become Robin/Nightwing and since Nolan has said he wont do that it would be cool to see him take on that mantle once Nolan passes the reigns on to someone else. Then again, Nolan likes to mes with our heads. He might have a big surprise waiting for us once this is released.

    But i would rather see him has Robin.Nightwing instead of Joker @bruce-ha but like you said, it seems very random. There is more to this than we know.

    I've said it before! JGL will become Robin/Nightwing or the Joker.

    I'll stick to my words, and although the latter sounds doubtful i think he will become Robin.

    He seems perfect for the role, and the story of some guy becoming Robin sounds less appealing then a cop who is sick of injustice and tries to help Batman instead by becoming Robin.

    Either way, it just seems too random to introduce JGL as a simple cop. Christopher Nolan must have bigger things planned for him.
