The Dark Knight Rises Christian Bale Make-Up Test Has Him Beaten by Bane?

An image has popped-up online, which many think is a leaked photo of a Make-Up test done on Christian Bale for The Dark Knight Rises. Some fans claim that this is what Bruce Wayne will look like after getting beat-up by Bane (Tom Hardy). Others think it might be a make-up test from the now-in production drama The 13 Women of Nanjing, which Christian Bale is headlining. In a few short hours, we may even find out that it's some super old picture from Terminator Salvation. But hey, its fun to look at, and maybe this is the handy work of Bane after all. Who knows? Check it out below.

The Dark Knight Rises comes to theaters July 20th, 2012 and stars Liam Neeson, Tom Hardy, Christian Bale, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Anne Hathaway, Gary Oldman, Aidan Gillen, Marion Cotillard. The film is directed by Christopher Nolan.

    If they have started filming TDKR then its from the make-up tests,but if not its from any film he's been working on. Of course I'm not sure WB would allow this pic stay on-line for long.

    @brian - good way to "TEST" makeup on a dude with facial hair whose character doesnt have any. it would be too difficult to apply with hair and to get around it. Why would they make it harder on themselves?

    oh, and if anyone wants to suggest that perhaps this facial hair had been grown post-bane-beatdown, try and notice one thing: its a pretty clean cut/ well-groomed go-t hes got there. I doubt Wayne would be the type to hang up his cape for a few weeks to recoop just to focus in on his new hobby of facial hairscaping. Ugh, Orange... please kill yourself. Better yet, let every person who stands with an ability to think and write do it for you.

    PS: (I am aware this isnt Alan's fault, but whether or not that be the case, it feels good knowing I can f*ck with the dingus. BAM)

    @bawnian-dexeus exactly. and that is what i am hoping for, to have it in the distant future, not too far a future, but bale, i am sure could be enticed to come back, if like downey jr. could have some pull on who directs, but not sure if wb sees him as an asset or just expendable, hell they werent able to convince michael keaton to return for i believe it was 35million.

    Personally i think this. the series will end, then a reboot, and they will be taking a lead from marvel and prepping us for a JLA, which in nolans universe if bale decided on that, would not fit, much like how thor might change the aspects of iron man 3.

    It really would be fitting though to have the next three films a batman beyond type trilogy, or even a dark knight returns. but @bawnian-dexeus i have thought of it in some way the same sense, of a darker time, batman is retired giving it up for whatever reason, then returning, maybe even having nightwing in the picture, which was always a much better character than robin even though it is the same side of the coin really.

    @incmob maybe he can abandon the suit and when WB and Nolan as producer go on with the so called "reboot" continue with a new actor where Rises left off. Crime has spiked off and is worse than Batman Begins was. New villains emerging, that will bring Bruce back from his early retirement. least, that is how I would like it to end
