The Dark Knight Rises Batmobile Blu-ray Featurette Behind-the-Scenes Footage
Though The Dark Knight Rises is still four months away from its theatrical release, its never too soon to start thinking about the Blu-ray! Warner Bros. recently gathered all five of Bruce Wayne's Batmobiles on the studio lot for an upcoming featurette that chronicles the ever-changing look of this powerful machine. A lot of folks were on hand for this showcase, so of course we have spy footage. Watch as the Tim Burton, the Joel Schumacher, and the Christopher Nolan Batmobiles all meet Adam West's 60s-inspired iconic ride for the first time.
The Dark Knight Rises was released July 20th, 2012 and stars Tom Hardy, Christian Bale, Anne Hathaway, Liam Neeson, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Gary Oldman, Marion Cotillard, Morgan Freeman. The film is directed by Christopher Nolan.

@bellandedward1 I don't see why they wouldn't. Unless, it's something that is going to be exclusive only on Blu-ray.

@felipe-11 totally agree with you. i think nolan did well with the films and as he closes the door another will open... there is a vast array of versions that could be toyed with by WB. hey if all else fails...they could get schumacher back on board... kidding of course...lol

@incmob That actually would be cool. I love the Nolan films, but I still think there's plenty of room for different Batman adaptations; maybe Frank Miller's Dark Knight Returns (filmed ala 300), or just a more comic-book looking film, like the Arkham City video games but made into film. And Batman Beyond would definitely be cool too.
@basquat You must know Nolan would face palm at that idea, right?

@basquat Totally uncool...
The Keaton-era Batmobile is awesome as a more "comic-book" version of Batman, but the Tumbler is the only one that could ever funtion properly in the real world and have a minimum chance of being street legal.

@basquat not cool... but it would be cool if they got michael keaton to be in a batman beyond film (with aged makeup on) that was a continuation of the tim burton films... as though it was the third film and keaton was mentoring a younger batman.

@phatalphd you actually can get it... in kit form, or street legal built version

The car from the Keaton movies is still one of the sickest cars I've ever seen. Man that sh*t would sell if they made that into a production car

Nolan does not have a Batmobile in his series. Epic typo and fail.

Yeah. I would be embarrassed to drive around in The Batman & Robin convertible model. Even though I'm a huge fan of the Tumbler, I would easily take the Tim Burton's Batmobile any day.

A little of topic but how cool would it be if Michael Keaton did a cameo in DKR?
