@ROFLitschristian Definitely. I thought Hardy's performance was nearly as great as Heath Ledger's Joker. Considering the character of Bane and the previous interpretation of the character in Batman and Robin I think Hardy really brought the character to life and his performance was iconic. Of course Bane and Joker are two totally different characters, and both bring very different elements to the screen, but I think Hardy did a great job acting out the character and making him menacing and very intimidating. Hell, Hardy had a mask on the whole time, but just his speech, mannerisms, and what he did with his eyes was a superb performance. At first I didn't like the idea of Bane being the villain, but when I was watching the film for the first time and saw how threatning and ominous Hardy's Bane was I was immediately sold.

@brandon-scott-todd@the-movieghost He played a fantastic villain! His dialogue, his delivery, he's intimidation. He made this movie what it is, or at least made up a larger part of it. So glad it's finally here for my millions upon millions of replays.

@the MovieGhost Yeah man, when Bane says "Lets not stand on ceremony here...Mr. Wayne" I knew then and their Batman was about to get his ass handed to him and just the cinematography and how Nolan made the scene was epic. Come to think of it there was no music in the fight sequence itself, all you can here is punches and Batman yelling which made it even more engaging. It left me completely in awe.

I was of the same mind set @brandon-scott-todd. When I first saw this scene, specifically when Bane breaks Bruce, I was so stunned and excited I was shaking in my seat. Fantastic scene.

Best sequence in TDKR hands down. I especially like how Nolan incorporated the "back-breaking" scene from the comics. Tom Hardy's Bane was very intimidating and monster-like in the sequence and his dialogue was pretty awesome as well. When I first saw it, I was shocked that Batman got beat-down to a pulp, it took me a few seconds to regroup; the sequence was that amazing. Its probably one of the most realistic, physical, and epic fight sequences I've ever witnessed. Great job Mr. Nolan.
