The Dark Knight Rises 2011 Licensing Expo Poster

The Dark Knight Rises gets its first official poster from the 2011 Licensing International Expo being held in Las Vegas this week. Here, we get to see Bruce Wayne (Christian Bale) in his new armor for director Christopher Nolan's final chapter in this Batman saga. Check it out below.

The Dark Knight Rises comes to theaters July 20th, 2012 and stars Liam Neeson, Tom Hardy, Christian Bale, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Anne Hathaway, Gary Oldman, Aidan Gillen, Marion Cotillard. The film is directed by Christopher Nolan.

    Personally, I always preferred the blue and gray suit Bats over the black suit, but meh, black works best for the movies with their darker look and tone. :)

    The suit has always appeared gray on merchandise tags and boxes because it's a drawing and they want the suit to stand out instead of appearing totally dark....

    I can't believe you people are stupid enough to think that is a new suit. I'm looking at the suit from TDK right now and it's the same suit. The only difference is the above photo is a DRAWING and not the actual suit but it's still the same design and prodominate is not a word...however PREDOMINATE is. You got a Batman lesson and an English lesson all in the same night. Congrats

    Crazy thought here: Wouldnt it be kool if to take down Bane, Batman had to wear actual armor over parts of his suit, kind of like how he looks in the DCU online trailers..like i said , crazy thought :D

    @Tony-Castro @hasido @newtron @hijo325 @the-film-geek No. Its a different suit. Bring up a picture of the suit from The Dark Knight and you can clearly see major differences such as the fact that Gray is the prodominant color in the suit instead of black in the movies. There are also several other changes to the armor plating compared to the suit from The Dark Knight.

    @Tony-Castro - Actually, it is a different suit. If you look at the suit from dark knight, I just googled it, the suit was entirely black with a slight metallic looking, kevlar-like material on the chest, and it's not grey......it also had more "ridges" on the legs.

    I'm not saying this is definitely going to be the suit in the final film, as they could make some changes along the way....but it is slightly different from The Dark Knight.
