The Da Vinci Code Storms the Charts

The Da Vinci Code showed it's power on DVD last week.

In a story from The Hollywood Reporter, Ron Howard's The Da Vinci Code took the top position on Nielsen VideoScan's First Alert Sales Chart and Home Media Magazine's rental chart.

So strong was the power of The Da Vinci Code it knocked Mission: Impossible 3 and Cars from their positions.

The Family Guy: Season 4 took the No. 3 slot on the sales charts, with Accepted debuting at No. 4. John Tucker Must Die came in at No. 5.

Lastly, in rentals John Tucker Must Die came in at No. 6 with Accepted landing in the No. 9 position.

The Da Vinci Code was released May 19th, 2006 and stars Tom Hanks, Audrey Tautou, Ian McKellen, Jean Reno, Paul Bettany, Alfred Molina, Jürgen Prochnow, Jean-Yves Berteloot. The film is directed by Ron Howard.
