David Ramsey joins the CW pilot Arrow
David Ramsey will portray John Diggle, a former military soldier who becomes a bodyguard for hire. The character is not a part of the comic book series. We reported last week that Stephen Amell has been cast as Oliver Queen, the billionaire playboy who masquerades as the crime-fighting vigilante The Green Arrow.
Andrew Kreisberg, Marc Guggenheim, and Greg Berlanti wrote the pilot script for Arrow, and will executive produce alongside David Nutter, who is directing the pilot episode.
No production schedule was given for the Arrow pilot. If it is picked up to series, it may fill the superhero void left after Smallville went off the air last May.
