Back in April, we reported that The Weinstein Company filled a lawsuit against Relativity Media, claiming they still held the worldwide remake rights for The Crow.

Today, both companies released a statement announcing the lawsuit has been settled, and that they will both develop The Crow remake together. Here is the statement below.

"The lawsuit between Relativity Media and The Weinstein Company concerning The Crow has been amicably settled out of court, and the parties will continue to work on the film together as planned. In addition, Relativity Media has dismissed all of its claims against The Weinstein Company for any wrongdoing regarding the release and distribution of Nine, and The Weinstein Company has dismissed all of its claims against Relativity Media."

Bradley Cooper was originally slated to portray Eric Draven in the remake, although he left the project back in August. Mark Wahlberg and Channing Tatum were mentioned as possible replacements at the time, but we haven't heard anything further regarding the casting of The Crow.

The Crow is in development and stars Luke Evans. The film is directed by F. Javier Gutiérrez.

Please do not ruin this remake by putting Channing Tatum or Mark walhberg in it, I dont want this done at all either but if it has to be done i would really not want either of those 3 playing the role

How about drop the f*cking idea? There is already a Crow movie, and by most people's standards, it was pretty good.
