"The man with the hat is back - and looking better than ever! The Complete Indiana Jones Blu-ray Collection Collection will be excavated in the fall of 2012 and will include all four of Indy's thrilling adventures, using the highest possible high definition picture and audio presentation - along with a "best of" collection of documentaries, interviews, featurettes and a few new surprises."

As of now, all we know for sure is this set will contain all four movies - Raiders of the Lost Ark, Indiana Jones & the Temple of Doom, Indiana Jones & the Last Crusade, and 2008's Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. @ghostman Good point. I wonder why they didn't do anything about those 2 scenes when they were filming Indiana Jones 4.

@ROFLitschristian now you're just trolling on me :P

    @ghostman ... 300 was also kind of lack-luster. :P

@themoviefanatic The only thing that needs to be taken out from Indy 4 is Shia LaBeouf acting silly (stupid monkey vine swinging comes to mind) and the snake scene was just slightly goofy. The rest is fine.

@ghostman No, i wasn't trying to say that. What i thought what was so bad about it, was that it had a pretty bad story/plot in it. I bet that if Indiana Jones 4's script had been rewritten, then it would have been a whole lot better then it turned out to be.

@themoviefanatic Are you trying to say that you have better tastes in film then me? Let's put that statement aside for know; I saw Indy 4 on opening day and i thought it was really good, sure it could have been better, but i enjoyed it. Don't listen to other people because you side with them too easily. someone says "hey Sean this movies bad" and you take their word for it! for all you know, that movie might be great to you but terrible to them. i'm curious to know: What did you find that was so bad in the movie?

@ghostman Yes, i know i should have seen it in theaters, but to be quite honest with you, i am glad that i did not see it in theaters, because of how bad it turned out to be. No, i wouldn't say that you have a better taste in movies then i do, no ones taste in movies is better then another persons taste in movies.

@ghostman The only blind buy I ever made was.......Actually, never had a blind buy

@bawnian-dexeus Haha true! @themoviefanatic Well you should have seen the movie in theaters before you bought it. I have bought "blind buys" like Cloverfield and I Am Legend, which turned out to be great! Maybe I just have a better taste in movies then you do :P haha!

Nah. I'll just wait for the inevitable 3D conversion rerelease next year :P

@ghostman My problem with getting the fourth movie, is that i already have that horrible fourth movie. I bought it as a blind buy when it first came out on Blu-ray, which i should have not never done that and i usually never do that and that one time i did that. I should have never done that in the first place.

  12. Ghostman

@themoviefanatic If you say so, but you might not get extra bonuses if you only purchase them separately and it also costs more to by them individually too you know. You're better of buying the complete set, no one is "forcing you" to watch the fourth movie. And don't you want every film in the franchise?

  13. Sean

@ghostman Well, as first i was under the impression that there would only be the collection pack that would be released, but then i found out that there would the individual blu-ray releases of the first three movies that would be released on the same day as the collection pack.

@XxNickTheFilmCriticXx, Bowden is definitely hot in that girl nextdoor way. The first time I saw her ditsy character in 30 Rock, I was sold. Nice pick!

I'd have to get the first three movies seperately from the fourth movie, because i don't want to buy the fourth movie. I found out from blu-ray.com, that not only will there be a blu-ray collection pack of the movies together, but there will be individual Blu-ray releases on the movies, that will be released at the same time as the collection pack.

will have to wait on this one. i have the dvds which still look good, and besides, with a fifth one tentaviley planned, you know they will be releasing another boxed set when that comes out, and as we all know most boxed sets that come out in the BD format are not typically sold seperately at least for the first or second year after release. however, i am looking forward to see how the transfer ends up on this.

@SpaceCowboy@XxNickTheFilmCriticXx The best part about this, is that the news is revealed on the same day as Psych's Indiana Jones themed episode is on which I am watching right now, and it's hilarious! XD

@ghostman New stuff is great, but I like the old features.

@SpaceCowboy Besides the "best off" old features thrown in, i'm more excited about the "few new surprises" line!

@ghostman -- No worries, man. Let's hope that "The Avengers" winds up being just as good as "Iron Man", if not better. I have a feeling it'll be at least decent, given the recent Marvel films.

I don't really like the sound of "best of." Just throw in all the extras from the original trilogy boxset's bonus disc, the re-released promotional trilogy boxset, and the 2-disc Crystal Skull Blu-ray. This set should truly be "Complete."

@XxNickTheFilmCriticXx I'm sorry :( but i'm trying this new thing where i have movies i'm excited to see as my avatar. Like for now, I have The Avengers, then it'll change to TDKR in July, and so on; but I'll think about Katrina Bowden......

@ghostman -- Ha ha, yeah. How long will it be before you change your userpic to something pertaining to the nature of your previous userpic? I adjusted with it quite well, and it was refreshing, to say the least.

Three Words - Katrina Bowden -- Maxim.
