The Cleveland Show Getting a Full Second Season Order

Fox has ordered an additional nine episodes of The Cleveland Show, the No. 1 new scripted series of the fall, bringing the second season of the series to a full 22-episode order, it was announced today by Kevin Reilly, President, Entertainment for Fox Broadcasting Company.

"While I'm excited about this news, I really can't wait until next Wednesday to see an all-new Glee," said Cleveland Brown.

The series premiere of The Cleveland Show was FOX's highest-rated Sunday comedy series debut in over six years among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34 and Total Viewers.

In the next episode of The Cleveland Show, airing Sunday, Oct. 18 (8:30-9:00 PM ET/PT), Cleveland (Mike Henry) gets a job at Waterman Cable, and Tim (Seth MacFarlane) becomes jealous of Cleveland when he becomes the top salesman and wishes for bad things to happen to him. But when Cleveland comes up on some bad luck and misfortune, Tim has a change of heart.

The Cleveland Show follows everyone's favorite soft-spoken neighbor to his hometown in Virginia, as he settles down with his high school sweetheart, her unruly kids and his own son. The series features the voice talents of Mike Henry, Sanaa Lathan, Reagan Gomez-Preston, Kevin Michael Richardson and Seth MacFarlane, as well as Arianna Huffington and Jason Sudeikis in recurring roles. Season One guest stars include Jamie Kennedy, Taraji P. Henson, Kanye West and Fergie.

The Cleveland Show is a 20th Century Fox Television production. Seth MacFarlane, Rich Appel and Mike Henry are executive producers and co-creators of the series.

    yeah right man i thought of the same thing, like when the simpsons goes their gonna give macfarlane a new spot and change the name from "animation domination" to "seth macfarlane presents"

    Err, I too was skeptical at first but I agree, the show is alright in its own way...but I hope MacFarlane is done with shows at least for a while, considering his shows take up 3/4ths of "Animation Domination." If he forces "The Simpsons" out (highly unlikely but you never know)...There will be blood...

    i was skeptical at first (no, i wasn't) but this show has earned my trust. last sundays episode was so funny i peed my pants (no, i didn't, but i did laugh pretty hard all through the episode).
