Back in February, we reported that MGM is working on a deal with Sony to distribute The Cabin in the Woods sometime this year. We haven't heard anything about a release date for The Cabin in the Woods since then.
The Cabin in the Woods was released April 13th, 2012 and stars Kristen Connolly, Chris Hemsworth, Anna Hutchison, Fran Kranz, Jesse Williams, Richard Jenkins, Bradley Whitford, Brian J. White. The film is directed by Drew Goddard.

haha this movie looks interesting i heard about it from a buddy a while back and this is just a joke but if chris hemsworth just straight up pulled out a hammer and started killing everyone shouting FOR ASGARD i would probably clap and considder this the greatest horror movie ever hahaha but likei said just a joke cant wait to see this movie even if there is no hammer haha

@moviemaniac66 yeah, it was really cool seeing houses exploding and I drove around the neighborhood streets loking at all the plane crash debris. I've been waiting forever for this movie to come out, and imdb website listed a release date for Sept. 8th this yr. So let's keep our hopes up :)

@ghostman - Yeah. I was not a fan of the original Red Dawn but for some reason I am extremely eager to see the remake. That is pretty neat that you got to see the prinicpal photography. The only movie that I have ever seen being filmed was Twilight: New Moon. Nothing really exciting about that.
