The Broken Tower Trailer
Shot in black-and-white, the film is about the poet Hart Crane, one of the more tragic figures of the 20th century. In addition to being a heavy alcoholic, his most ambitious work was critically panned and he wound up committing suicide at the age of 32 by jumping off of a boat in the Gulf of Mexico. The movie co-stars Michael Shannon, Stacey Miller, and Dave Franco and is currently available On Demand.
The Broken Tower was released April 27th, 2012 and stars James Franco, Michael Shannon, Stacey Miller, Vince Jolivette, Betsy Franco, Dave Franco, David Rothstadt, David Gerson. The film is directed by James Franco.

this looks like someone trying to impress a film school teacher with a highly pretentious piece of "art" that only appeals to other pretentious people who live as though they are smarter or above everyone else in their Bohemian existence.
