The Beast Is Canceled by A&E
The series premiered in January on the cable network and starred Patrick Swayze as a Chicago cop. Although the series marked somewhat of a comeback for Swayze, as he continued to fight the pancreatic cancer he was diagnosed with last year, the ratings weren't high enough for a pick-up.
The series averaged 1.3 million viewers throughout its 13-episode run.

I mean, I don't know how bad pancreatic cancer is to your physical movements, but if it's possible, i would like to see him in one last movie, Point Break 2 with Keanu Reeves.

hahaha. A few weeks ago they were vigorously denying such claims of possible cancellation, and the show's season had already ended then, so the numbers didn't change since that story broke. I guess they couldn't stand being found out by another site. lolz! That series looked WAY too unrealastic anyway.

How sad, I know a lot of people who really enjoy this show. I think had it been on another network like FX it may have done better but we will never know.

This show reminded me of Training Day. Too bad. I doubt he'll be in anything else.
