"As far as remakes go, ... I wish these people die in Hell. I hope they're all in the same streetcar, and it blows up."

Yeah, I don't see any similarities with Bad Lieutenant to Requiem, that one is a bit off.

Newkill, Requiem was based on a novel from the 70's.

Doesn't look as acid trippy as the first one, but I'll still check it out. Requiem for a Dream was a actually a rip off of the first Bad Lieutenant.

Wow, this looks about as annoying and pointless as the original. That f*cking laugh Cage does is too f*cking obnoxious. Kind of expected more from Herzog.

Messenger, dude's been around since the 70's. His best film is either Nosferatu: Phantom der Nacht or Grizzly Man.

Reimagining is a nother word thrown around these days.

This isn't a remake, the original was about Harvey K's character finding out who raped a nun. None of that reared it's head in this trailer. Though there are similarities but if similarities make every movie the same we have bigger problems on our hands. Werner Hertzog is a damn good director, I believe he used to direct docs and made his debut with Rescue Dawn.
