The Avengers Prepare for Battle in Hi-Res Photos

Marvel is on a roll, continuing to unleash new official photographs from their epic ensemble The Avengers. Today, we get a Hi-Res look at some of the images that appeared in last week's issue of EW, featuring cast members Scarlett Johansson, Tom Hiddleston, Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, and Samuel L. Jackson. Check out the suits and the explosions below.

Marvel's The Avengers was released May 4th, 2012 and stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Tom Hiddleston, Clark Gregg. The film is directed by Joss Whedon.

    Still kind of wished they had gone with just a new suit but kept Caps helmet from TFA, the chin strapped helmet, not a whole cowl like this one seems to be

    @sean I've noticed it in other news stories, and the trailer shows Thor throwing Mjolnir in the woods, which is where Banner was last seen at a cabin deep in the woods, and the behind the scenes photo gallery showed Cap ducking behind a tree exploding. So, I would assume that is when Fury, Thor, Cap and other Shield agents go in to capture Banner.
