yeah, Red Skull has to be involved somewhere. He was transported to Asgard by the cosmic cube after all.

@bane5000 Which could explain cars being flipped over! Let's discuss more about this in the forum: movieweb/forums/FTG2GaXWfijbJN

@ghostman...could be a part of the Cosmic Cube as u said, just weaponized into his staff as they did in C.A:TFA with guns and tanks...

@bane5000 i was going to say the same thing about that blue gem! It does look similar to the Infinity Gem that was seen on the Gauntlet from Thor, but it might very well be a Mind Gem, or even better---a part of the Cosmic Cube itself?!

Also if u look closely, there seems to be some kind of jewel at the end of Loki's staff, could it be...dare i say...AN INFINITY GEM, more specifically from the color, the Mind Gem, which could be used to control others, maybe including the Hulk

    opinions everybody?

Yes, that would be good to have a forum about it.

@ghostman...That would be awesome if the Red Skull returns, maybe like u say bout Loki aligning himself with the Kree or Skrulls and Red Skull taking over Asgard, with the help of Loki no doubt. Loki could be in Germany to find out any info from the past about Red Skull and what knew of the Cube, maybe even seek out Arnim Zola who is still alive in his comic book form...did u notice in Captain America:TFA when Zola was collecting paperwork in his office before fleeing, he grabbed the blueprints to his comic book form?

I think the return of Red Skull can be played out that by the end of the movie, Loki or SHIELD somehow activate the Cube and it transports Red Skull back to our time and that could set up the sequel, what do u think?

@supervenom Yes! it will be ultimately epic! @sean It does sound like where they could be heading with this in the MCU :) I think I should create a forum about this...should I?

@supermanvenom You know i think both Red Skull and Loki were sucked into that portal that happened in Thor and Captain America: Sending Loki to the galaxy of Kree and Red Skull to Asgard. Loki then took an army of Kree to attack earth which is the what happens in The Avenger's movie. While Red Skull might possibly take over Asgard (might even get Asgardian Powers!) and then return back to earth to finish what he started in Captain America.

@ghostman Yeah i think that would work. I'm thinking the more villians the better. In captian america didn't Red skull get sucked into that portal?

@movie-nut @sean I'm really glad I mentioned Red Skull, the more I'm thinking about it, he would make an excellent villain for the sequel. having him in the sequel would end his story arc becuz really, in Captain America, I don't think they wrapped up his story...he just went to Asgard. They might save the Skrulls Secret Invasion story-line for the third film instead. Which makes sense having Loki battle them with the Kree and then continuing with the return of Red Skull becoming more powerful carrying on his mission of world domination, and ending with Secret Invasion for the 3rd film.

@ghostman I think the return of the Red Skull is not only plausible, but I think it would almost be necessary. Probably as a sequel villain (we don't want to pack the first one with too many) is where I would place Red Skull's return from Asgard (because we all know that's where he went).
That could even the name of the second one! The Avengers: Return of The Red Skull!

@supermanvenom About Red Skull returning? That would be a huge surprise. How would it fit in with the story though? Does Loki go to Germany asking about the Red Skull to get more information about the Cosmic Cube? what do you think?

Loki in Germany? Does this mean the return of Red Skull? Why is Loki at a Red-Carpet style event? What are the people running from? Where are The Avengers when you need them? So many questions, so little answers!
