The Avengers halts production
Word from those close to the Albuquerque, New Mexico set have confirmed today that this script leak has caused the huge production to temporarily shut down while the script pages, many of which showed up in photos on the internet, are rewritten. There are other reasons for this indefinite halt in production, but those particular reasons weren't offered at this time.
The pages that made it onto the Internet detailed a scene where Hulk transforms in front of Black Widow while Iron Man and Captain America run around a large boiler room. These scenes will now be altered.
The theft of Samuel L. Jackson's shooting script did not occur in Albuquerque, but it was instead swiped while the actor was last in Burbank, California. There is no word yet on when filming of The Avengers will resume.
Marvel's The Avengers was released May 4th, 2012 and stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Tom Hiddleston, Clark Gregg. The film is directed by Joss Whedon.

They should of done that with the Avengers script, and the fact that they didn't do that, goes to show the major idiocy going on there. I hope that the script is found and taken back to who is supposed to be in possession of it very very soon. I would hate to see this movie not happen, i hope that the script will be found and that the production will go back into the production of The Avengers movie.

@zender Yeah. They did that with Spidey and on top of that, they used coded name for all of the characters in the script like Mr. Blue. This worked great and helped Sony find who was leaking what.

There are so many stories and sequences to be told from the Avengers series that a rewrite would not jeopardize the storyline. Re-write, redo storyboards and re-apply SFX budget to new scenes. No problem. Time could be the problem cause the competition from DC (if u wanna call it that).
PS Saw Thor....and they want a sequel? All I have to say i one thing: If Kenneth DOES NOT direct the second one there is no justice in Hollywood. If it ain't broke don't fix it.....

"To get into the production office you have someone meet and there's key in various doors that lock. The script you read in the production office and there's no ending to script,"
"He tells you the ending so it doesn't leak and get out and people spoil it on the Internet. It's very tight security."

The Dark Knight
The Dark Knight Rises script will not see the light of day I guarantee you that. That script is the most protected thing on their set. Last time they had private security men out side of the actors houses when they first go to see the script.
