The Amazing Spider-Man Web-Shooter Blue Prints and Video

One of the big changes from 2002's Spider-Man to this summer's The Amazing Spider-Man is that Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield) no longer has organic Web-Shooters. Instead, as in the original comic book, he must create his own, which often run out of fluid when he needs it the most. The viral site Parker's POV has been updated with a short video, blue prints and schematics, offering a closer look at his DIY Web-Shooters. Check it out.

@junior-roberts Exactly. I liked the web-parachute, myself, along with that always-classic backpack to take his street clothes with him.

@comicbookfan I agree. One of Spidey's greatest challenges was running out of webbing and having to refill during an epic battle. And the fact he could do different things with the webbing line a backpack or cushion of web. That would be great to see in this new flick.

I can't wait to see the web-shooters in live action. In Spider-Man 2, when he would run out of web fluid, I thought it was awesome thinking he needed to design the mechanic web-shooters subsequently. Sadly, that didn't happen. When it was announced he would have them for this reboot, I thought it was awesome. Hopefully they work well in the film. I'd like to see how the web cartridges hold the fluid but I don't see them explaining that all too well. We'll see.

@bawnian-dexeus Yea me too I like the Idea that even he has no budget what so ever but he manage to make such incredible machinery out of everyday tools like a watch (web shooters) and a flashlight (spidey-signal)

This is all really cool, but I can't help but feel like the change they made to the original Spidey Trilogy was the best move they could have made. The whole idea of it being organic rather than synthetic just helped the whole idea.

Besides being Spidey, the only think I ever always enjoyed about parker is how ahead of his time he is intellectually yet still in high school.
