i can imagine them making this scene really heartbreaking, specially with Sheen in it, that will set the tone of how much more serious this Spidey will be in his quest then the past films

@jptheredskull well as we have discused in the past...i am ok with the changes made as long as the heart and soul of the bppk remains intact. I like to think of these as alternate universe and if that is the direction they want to go then i am all for it.

This looks interesting. Sam Raimi vaguely covered this aspect of Spiderman. The death of Uncle Ben is the catalyst that makes Peter Parker become Spiderman. The fact that Raimi negated to show Uncle Ben's death kind of took away from the drama factor of the first film. Also when the filmmakers connected Uncles Ben's death to Sandman, I believe that ultimately is what hindered the third film and the series overall. Webb's take on Spiderman and more specifically Uncle's Ben death seems to be more dramatic and vivid as compared to the previous attempt by Raimi.

@skywise Well, the source I told you about did say there was something in this film that was a more shocking change than the sandman killing Ben and that it would rock the fanbase to its core. I am paraprasing though : )

@jptheredskull hmmmmmmm i wonder if your right. Maybe he bumped into Ifans character just before he dies causing Parker to think that he had something to do with it?

no no no that is way to far fetched. It cant be. But then again, nothing would surprise me at this point. I would be very disapointed if it was Dr. Connors who was responsable for Uncle Ben's Death. But what ever will be will be.

@dan1 Sorry. I used it for emphasis. They should add bold to these comment boxes so that it doesn't seem like everyone in caps is screaming.

Such a make shift cast of supporting characters. Andrew Garfield is the perfect Peter and Emma is an acceptable Stacy, I guess. But the rest seem a bit out of place to me. They are all GREAT actors in their own right, but I am a little sketch on these roles they are taking up. Lets just hope Webb knows what he's doing.

One thing that Webb brings to the table is great cinematography, and I can't wait to see how this scene is lit, etc.
