@MrReese They've made him very much more humane and human like within this installment, I wasn't really looking for a stout, but the effects are amazing, i was shocked and gasped in awe on how much emotion and expression the lizard could express, well here is some wise words from the crew on TAS.

"The Lizard is a different kind of enemy for Peter Parker as well as Spiderman to face off with especially in our new envisage. We decided to break the Lizard down to the very essence that he is, which is in laymen terms a Jekyll and Hyde monster. But theis is all about the essence of the beast within the man, per say Dr Connors and the hero within the scared abandoned boy that is Peter Parker and Spiderman... This story is about breaking that down to its very essence and the powerful aspects is that Parker knows Connors and they are essentially colleagues and friends s to state it if you will, but when you ground it from beast and hero, they are the complete opposite of their alter egos... So going along with this element and aspects we decided to give the Lizard, a humane feel, we want the audience as well as the fans to see the man within the beast, we want you to look at him and still see Connors, which the technological aspects we went with allows use to do just that, as well as giving Rhys much more control over the character rather than us relying on today's computer generated technology, which sometimes makes it unbelievable or laughable... We see itin our vision that we want you to feel sympathy for both the antagonist as well as the hero but also fear both of them, and i really do honestly believe we nailed it, but only the fans can tell us that."

Here is a description i wrote for you guys from one of the special scenes they showed us, just for the event

there is a part where the lizard and spidey both jump out of a manhole and spidey leaps and clings on to a lamp post, Lizard just rips out the lamp post while spidey is on the top of it and just throws it through a building and like literally everything flies out the screen in slow-motion in crystal clear pristine 3D.

Now please tell me that does not sound bad ass... Imagine it in your head on an IMAX screen and the lizard is a massive bad ass grounded to the essence of a Jekyll and Hyde persona...even though he is but well you get the point.

I am very much looking forward to this movie I'm just scared that they are changing the story line of Peter's parents from their "SHIELD" history to something revolving around Doctor Connors which I'm sure will end up fine but not something that should have been done.... oh well. We will see.
