The Amazing Spider-Man the Lizard Action Figure Photos
While Sony Pictures and director Marc Webb continue to keep their The Amazing Spider-Man villain a secret, merchandising photos keep turning the other cheek at a rapid rate, exposing The Lizard (Rhys Ifans) in all his scaly glory. Over the weekend, we got our best look at this comic book character via a Halloween mask. Hasbro takes it one step further by showing off their 6" version of the razor-toothed baddie while at the NYC Toy Fair. To find out what The Lizard looks like in even more vivid detail, check out the photos below, which also include a cheaper hard plastic version of what we saw this past Saturday.

The Amazing Spider-Man was released July 3rd, 2012 and stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Rhys Ifans, Denis Leary, Martin Sheen, Sally Field, Irrfan Khan, Campbell Scott. The film is directed by Marc Webb.

@incmob : Oh yeah, definitely can see the resemblance, but I was just saying that the resemblance to the goombas never entered my mind until you mentioned it, but Killer Croc did. But yeah, I can definitely see where you're coming from, and I agree.

@moviemouse oh i completely agree.Nothing wrong with wishful thinking XD.I was pretty pissed when I saw he had no snout. But like u said they're going with the Ditko Lizard so yea its still faithful.

@Heisenberg thats to bad, would of loved the lizard to have a snout but the original lizard didn't have a snout so i guess there not being to unfaithful to the comics though there could still be a full transformation near very end for one last fight, wishful thinking

@incmob : Didn't think the goombas, but I definitely thought Killer Croc as well.

looking forward to the new film but this still to me looks like a cross between killer croc and the wretched goombas from the super mario movie years ago, more than the lizard.

@moviemouse if ur talking about the Comic-Con Lizard I think that they scratched that design completely. If you watch in the trailer,The Lizard (with no snout) is in a bathroom stall.Which is the scene they showed at Comic-Con (Lizard licking the girls face n what not).In conclusion The Lizard isn't going to have the snout, sadly.Maybe since he's trying to make more Lizard ppl, they will have the snout but i highly doubt it.Just my 2 cents 8)

In that case, this is probably just an early stage of his transformation.

the lizard will get a snout you can clearly see it in the first leaked images of him

From the facial features standpoint, I think they are going for more of a "what would a cross between a human and a lizard look like" feel, which probably means no snout.

Still no snout Lizard? i hope it happens in stage transformations throughout the film :/
