This movie might pass. And plz dnt complain about the suit cuz we all know Batman's suit is sh*t, but the movie was good. So plz dnt judge on the suit just on the movie. I still think Xmen needed more of a reboot then this.

compared to the other 3 big superhero movies next summer yes this will be a flop.. you guys really think this will come close to the TDKR or The Avergers?? I seriously doubt that .. and i would be willing to beat that it won't come close to Superman because that is the hero that everyone wants to see done right .. not Spider-man ..he was done right already..

@tree512010 they are rebooting it because, after spiderman 3, I think they want to gain back their fans with this no fresh interpretation of the character. instead of trashing the character, or just doing a spiderman 4, that would continue a story arch that lost a large amount of people in the third film, they wanna try again. they don't want to leave spiderman fans with the bad taste of spiderman 3 in their mouthes. and this could pick up new younger fans. a new spidey for a new generation of spidey fans.

Gay i just cant wait to watch this movie flop at the box office next summer and i will not be watching this.. i had a spider man for my generation and even if your a kid a they are nt but a few years old why make a new one when they just got done makeing the others ..same with batman TDKR will be the last batman i watch .. so if they reboot it afterwards like they say they will i will not be seeing that out of respect to Mr. Nolan

@ghostman What I was refering to was how the web pattern extends down his abdomen towards his crotch. The way the web goes dwonward is different and rather than curving down from the sides into a straight line downwards, these patern here consists of just downward diagonal lines.

Lovin the suit, looks great now that it isn't being presented in RAW format and we don't see the basketball like material... If I had to get picky it would be over the yellow eyes. Seems a little off...

@jptheredskull The costume web patterns do in fact match those seen in the Hi-Res photo gallery. They could have changed some elements and 'tweaked' it to make it more 'appealing'

@monkeyiron2-0 Yeah. I was right in the sense taht these aren't really a good representation of what it will be on screen.
Also, the shoes Spidey wears are Asics track shoes and they gave them to him to emphasize the real world tone of the movie because really, just wearing as a sock like padding on your feet wouldn't really give much protection. and for the haters who say he couldn't stick to walls through his gloves and shoes, its called biomagnetism and would likely be increased for a being of human size thus he CAN STILL STICK TO WALLS.

I was wrong. Superherohype has posted this to explain the pictures: "Uruloki has posted what appear to be two new images of the costume for The Amazing Spider-Man (view below) along with the statement that not everything has to be on SuperHeroHype. Well, the reason we haven't posted them is because they are not official artwork that was to be released. Talking to Sony Pictures today, the studio confirmed to us that the images instead are style guide material for their promotional partners. While it looks like one of the promotion partners may have leaked them, and even though the pics look quite good, they shouldn't be considered official images for the movie.
There real but shouldn't be considered official nor a representation of how the suit will look in the movie.
