    Been a LIZARD fan since I was a kid, and gotta say the head on this guy is really bad. Laugh out loud bad. I saw early designs and make-up tests going back to Raimi that were far superior to this half baked LIZARD. Uggg

    I like this Lizard. I am also more excited to see THIS Spiderman than the first few Spidermans. I loathed watching the weepy-faced Tobey Maguire playing Spiderman. He never really made it real for me. I was never emersed in the actors' ability to portray the roll. Kirsten Dunst as Mary Jane on the other hand was superb! Not to mention looked so much like Mary Jane from the original comics that I thought they made her in a lab! This new guy playing Spiderman, Andrew Garfield LOOKS like Peter Parker to me, and I'm already pulled into it. Not to mention his web shooters are mechanical now. Peter Parker originally had to make his own web shooters it didn't come naturally - which ruined the first 3 movies for me. So I'm excited to see this! Not to mention the fact that I do think his 'herosuit' is actually his own body shape under there.. am I right girls? >:)

    I'm excited, even though he looks like my horrible Uncle Steve, a pedophile, who is half Jewish, half reptile. He didn't touch me, just a playground in Brooklyn.

    Overall look is pretty cool but I wish they at least gave him a torn up labcoat... If bruce banner can change into the hulk and grow 10x bigger than a normal person and still manage to keep his pants then I'm sure Dr. Connors can transform into the Lizard and manage to at least keep a ripped lab coat.... Anyways still looking forward to this.

    You guys hating on this design are all forgetting that in comics and cartoons the creators and artists don't have to worry about people thinking 'this isn't how a guy would look if he turned into some sort of man/lizard hybrid. In the real world, as an artist on a big scale production you have to consider all those things, the little details that fans might not care about cause they want the original exact look and while nostalgia is all good, it almost always doesn't make for good art/character design. This is the same reason the designers on transformers put so many moving parts into the Transformers and had to think about things like scaling models to fit their car sizes.

    This is the same situation, he doesn't turn into a full blown lizard cause obviously the human side of him is still very much existent so part of that would likely come through in the mutation as well. Unless you all want Spiderman to be a spider and DOc ock to be purely mechanical with maybe just a human head or some crap like that, it has to make sense in that particular universe, they try to remember that these characters in a sense are still in a real world and just cause it's all fictional doesn't mean it can't have a logic to it
