Wait, Marvel Studios?? @ignitedspade Agreed. This is a Sony/Columbia Pictures film. Marvel Studios is nowhere near the eventual rights to this franchise. That was the first thing I noticed. Clearly a fake.

I could design a better looking poster since I used to take those classes. Granted it has been six years since then and I'm rusty as a nail.

@jptheredskull Thanks J.P. I'm afraid I made it, only because I was so bemused by the 'real?' effort though and thought someone needed to do it better. Glad you like it though!

This is a fake. This movie isn't a Marvel Studios film. Nice try though.

@jptheredskull...Its been reported that season 2 was gonna show a couple more hero cameos, so far we saw Wolverine in Caps flashback scene in WW2, the Fantastic 4 as well as hints to the X-Men and the Punisher, lets see who they show next season
have u seen the season finale, season 2 is gonna be great from the hint at the end...

@bane5000 Yeah. It's been rumored for a while that Spidey might make an appearance in Avengers: EMH which we all know is heavily inspired by the MCU so... It could happen.

@jptheredskull...sounds like a kool idea for Sony to be part time partners with Marvel Studios...just like in the animated show Avengers:EMH how they give lil hints and clues to other superheroes not on the show, it would be funny to see Tony in a movie reading the Daily Bugle with a pic of Spidey on the front page or Spidey mentioning a secret agency that keeps buggin him wink wink...

@Billy-James-Strickland, of course it's a teaser poster and features the "official logo" according to the article. Typically, a teaser poster is a early promotional poster that should tease you, entice you, and generate hype for a film. This teaser poster, as I mentioned previously, is boring and does not entice or generate any hyped-up expectations. In fact it has lowered my expectations. The Official Logo looks like something created by a student in a Basic Design 101 class. I know better posters of the movie will be coming, as just about anything would beat this design.

@12-42 Probably a dumb question but is that real? It's epic as all heck.

@bane5000 Yeah. I always said out of all the studios that have Marvel properties, Sony would be the most willing to do a crossover.

@jptheredskull...Oh i see, didnt know that, so yeah maybe theyre can be hope of a kind of Inter-Studio crossover of characters, or at the least cameos or little mentions of eachother...to bad FOX probably wants to just stick to their own and not cross over with Marvel Studios as well, stingy bastards LOL

Yeah, the poster does look to simple, Felipe-11 is right, the first 2 words inmlower case letters does make it look even simpler.

@narrator @bawnian-dexeus @bane5000 Marvel Studios is in fact the co-producer on this film. They even made the announcement themselves that the franchise was being rebooted. As for crossovers, due to Columbia/Sony being the other half of the producing unit, it's likely Marvel Studios characters will appear in Spidey films rather than vice versa.

wow, where can i buy this poster online?!?!? I've always wanted an ALMOST BLACK POSTER IN MY ROOM THAT SHOWS NOTHING ABOUT THE MOVIE. what a stupid poster.

Now this is a rare form of marketing... a poster that does not pique my interest in seeing a movie. From a design point of view, there is nothing good to say about this poster. The font and layout are way too basic, the background is boring, and the whole thing has an amateur look. I expect much more from Marvel and Sony Pictures.

both are ok. i like the poster better than the logo. the logo is too cartoonish (having not seen a preview yet that is hard to truly say, but from reports they wanted this incarnation to be darker and this logo doesn't fit that look). the poster i know what they are going for, but don't think they reach it.

This is lame. I predict that the next series of designs/posters/etc will give X-Men:First Class some serious competition.
