    @bawnian-dexeus - Lol, samehere ;).

    @ejk1 - The Kingpin wasn't a huge blow to me, if you watched The Spectacular Spider Man which i'm sure you have Tombstone could easily fill in his role. And well played sir, as i wanted to see Killer Croc, Clay face, or The Riddler as the next Bat villain ;(.

    @bawnian-dexeus I never get tired of pointing that out :)

    @Number1Wolverine Carnage can't happen without Venom being involved, and we saw how Raimi handled multiple villains in Spider-Man 3. I like the idea of Cletus Kasady as a serial killer, though. Spider-Man was dealt a somewhat haresh blow when Kingpin was designated as DD's main opponent, although since DD is my favorite marvel hero, I'm good with that. As for Vulture, all I can say is there are villains I would have rather seen in TDKR other than Bane (Hush chief among them), but from what I've seen, Nolan looks to have made a compelling character. So I guess what I'm saying is if done correctly, the Vulture could have proven to be an effective villain.

    @ejk1 - Oh you heard about that too huh, what was Sam thinking about trying to make Felicia a made up villainess then having the rest of the world thinking she was always like that instead of The Black Cat. Man think god this got rebooted, its crazy because Black Cat was going to be in Spider-Man 2 but they took her out ;(. And come on @ejk1, out of all Spider-Man villains The Vulture. What about Carnage, Mysterio, hell i don't even like The Scorpion but i would pick him before The Vulture.

    @Number1Wolverine Wouldn't have been upset by the Vulture. Would have been very upset by Anne Hathaway playing Felicia Hardy, aka The Vultress. Yep, that's right. They were going to put Felicia in, but not as Black Cat, just a made up villainess. You know what's funny about that. Every time I bring this up to people bitching about the reboot and ask them if they would rather have the Vultress, they never respond. And why the silence? Because they know how stupid it is to defend such an affront to Spider-Man's history.

    @RyanMoranMita - Samehere, alot of people are b****ing about it but if it wasn't for this reboot we would have seen what i think is one of spidey's worst foes on the screen The Vulture ;(.

    I actually really like the poster. "The Untold Story" kinda ruined it a bit, but I have high hopes for the movie. One thing I'm REALLY worried about is that Spider-Man won't be funny. Might not seem like a big deal, but it was one of the things that made me love Spider-Man. In the trailer it almost seemed depressing. Just don't f*ck it up, Garfield.

    I agree with @JuniorRoberts. It does make sense. It isn't an untold story in respects to comic book material but an untold story that hasn't been explored on film. We didn't get the rich development in either the cartoons or the previous trilogy as what we've seen thus far suggests.

    @josh, I didn't take it to literally translate to any prior material that doesn't relate to film...just film alone. In that light, as there are as many non-comic fans watching these films as there are comic fans it registers on a deeper level. Those unfamiliar with the material or those not as enthusiastic about it would see this as something new to them. It's a matter of perspective and where that line reaches. Thus far, there hasn't been anything offensive in the advertisement. This vision will be unique to film, as unique as the original trilogy. Until then, we wouldn't have seen a Spider-Man movie that would have remotely worked. This one seems to aspire to be more faithful while drawing on sources of material that is often overlooked.

    @justice-kowaleski Unfortunately not. Disney owns the Avengers and Sony owns Spider-Man, so until the rights revert back to Marvel/Disney, which can't happen until Sony stops developing Spider-Man films, we'll never see that crossover...which also means no Civil War movie.

    @jptheredskull The bottom line is any adaptation has no right to call itself the "untold story" unless it's a revisionist narrative that doesn't follow existing material (e.g., Ridley Scott's Robin Hood). It wouldn't have made sense for Nolan to call his Batman films "the untold story" just like it doesn't make sense here.

    OR Maybe They will Tie Spidey in to the Avengers!? Eh? EH? He doesnt work for the bugle anymore they are focusing on peter parker more. His Parents worked for shield. It just makes sense but we all know hollywood could give 2 sh*ts about making sense these days

    I REALLY like this poster. It hints at what the story will focus on - Peter Parker as an individual dealing with his responsibilities with his powers and his family... hence the line "The Untold Story". I believe they are talking about his parents because I heard they were casted for the movie. His parents "true" story was NEVER explored in any previous movie so if that is what they are hinting at, then GREAT. makes perfect sense.

    Also, I prefer him without the suit on for now in this poster. It strenghtens the idea that they will focus on both characters - Spiderman and Peter Parker, which eludes to stronger character development. You can tell from the rest of the casted characters/actors.

    Whether it's good or bad, in the end, we get a Spiderman movie alongside Dark Knight Rises and Avengers this summer. To me, that's a win win win situation.

    Now if he turns into The Hulk, I say you qualify for untold story. Otherwise, fire your marketing team. I mean really, untold story, that's best you have for a movie everyone knows is the same story? Boy turns into Spider Man, loves girl, uncle dies, fights bad guys, wins in the end. Ouch.

    Good poster. Terrible slogan. New characters doesn't mean untold story. It's still a terrible looking rehash just with new faces. The previews look terrible, the POV stuff, awful. Just put The Green Lantern in it so we can kill off two horrendous overblown movie franchises with one stone. This movie will end up in the same trash can as Superman Returns and Star Wars Prequels, yes it looks that bad.
