God I can't wait for the arguments once the movie actually comes out. It's going to be legendary.

andrew garfield is soooooooooooooooo cute. so is emma stone. i think that this story will be better than tobey version of spider man which was really cheesy . i love spider man 2 but the first one was horrible. if this movie is really good maybe he will be in the avengers

@bawnian-dexeus Oh sure, I have always maintained that my preference would have been Logan Lerman or another teen actor. Many times I brought up concerns that Garfield may not be up to multiple sequels, unless they move forward to college and beyond. But he was picked; I'm not going to cry about it. I'm going to give him and the rest of the cast, crew, etc. the benefit of the doubt for now. And as I always do, mainly because no one has said yes yet, I will ask this one question: Did you guys really want Spider-Man 4, with Anne Hathaway as Felicia Hardy, aka The Vultress? That's right. In case you forgot (although I can't believe you did, because I always bring it up when this topic arises), Hathaway was going to play the woman who should be Black Cat as the woman who became The Vultress. So how does that grab you fans of "the only Spider-Man trilogy?"

@ejk1 My only problem at first was the fact that it was getting an early reboot. Then I let it slide seeing as later on, I saw S3 with the the new knowledge of story telling I got from my first year in college. My second problem had been the casting choices. I wouldn't have picked Stone and Andrew Garfield didn't scream Parker for some reason, plus the fact that he's portraying a high-schooler when he's reaching 30; until the final product, like you, I can't really say if it will be good or not, but the teaser trailer surely got me into it. Thirdly and final, the suit has way to much blue. That's all

@bawnian-dexeus I don't know if this will be a good film or not, but the reasons for not liking it at this point are very shallow and stupid. I don't care if I'm hurting anyone's feelings by saying that.
Think about it morons: How can you root against a Spider-Man film if you are a Spider-Man fan? I hate the result of the G.I. Joe film, but a year before it came out, I was in full support mode for the franchise to be a success. By all means, hate on it if you don't like the final product. If I don't like it, you'll know--my GL review is proof of that. But at least wait until then to start your bitching.

Well, after reading the story and the thread, here are my thoughts:
1) She's like thirty feet behind him. Anyone that thinks he can see her in this picture clearly has depth perception issues.
2) I'm waiting for Daryl Tan to write that he has a "tiny, tiny penis" like in that Chinpokomon episode of South Park.
3) Full Metal Alchemist was a legendary anime from Japan. It was only partially based on the manga. About five years later, Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood, which is on Adult Swim in America and is based upon the manga almost completely, was created. The first twelve or so eps of FMA: Brotherhood were basically the first half of the original show in fast forward. After watching these episodes, I have been treated to excellent, brand new stories on-screen, with characters not seen before, and others completely reimagined (two words for those in know: Selim Bradley). Now here we have Spider-Man, again. With his origin, again. With The Lizard, again. And the love of his life Gwen Stacy, again. Wait a minute....that's not right. The Lizard wasn't in the first trilogy, only his alter-ego Dr. Connors. As for Gwen, she only appeared in Spider-Man 3, and only as a tool for Parker to make MJ jealous. Hmm...changes ahead, methinks. Perhaps everyone needs to stop focusing on what is similar and recognize the differences.

In movies we have cliches, right? This isn't following cliches. Peter Parker's a honking dork, but look at Andrew's arm! IT'S CRAZY MUSCULAR!

@narrator Yo! not everyone on here is gonna like what others like, come on we all know that by now right? then thats no excuse to be calling people names for what they think about something, if it annoys you just say nothing, plus everyone at times act idiotically and obnoxiously towards some news article on here its call having fun you should try it some times and stop being such a tight ass.

@cupid, exactly. We all have opinions. Mine is that close minded, obnoxiously ill-spoken, and offensively close-minded people are idiots, or in the very least act idiotically. Maybe you're the one who'd do best to try and remember that.

"Barely anticipated?" Lol, surree...
As for the idiots (and yes, these people are idiots) who continue to use the excuse that this is the exact same thing over again, the more coherent folk of the world (as well as the least biased) are getting tired of reiterating the fact that aside from the basic origin aspects of the character, this couldn't possibly be any more different from the original films without having to remove the title Spider-Man. Geniuses..
