Spider-Man heads to New York for last month of shooting
The actor claims that Marc Webb has finished shooting in Los Angeles, and that the rest of the crew is now headed to New York.
"I'm done. They're going to New York to film the rest. I'm a huge fan. It was an amazing experience, a great group. Sony was amazing and I was just proud to be a part of it."
C. Thomas Howell also talked about watching his scenes in 3D as soon as they were shot on set.
"Everything is twice the size of what you're used to. One of the exciting things about it was watching the replays with your glasses on and seeing it right after you shoot it in 3D so that was amazing. I was learning a lot, it was my first time."
The Amazing Spider-Man comes to theaters July 3rd, 2012 and stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Rhys Ifans, Martin Sheen, Denis Leary, Chris Zylka, Irrfan Khan, C. Thomas Howell. The film is directed by Marc Webb.

@Zak-F - dude im a matchmove artist. what is matchmove - well when a film is shot der are 2 things 1)a real video 2)CGI - we have to merge the CGI in the real footage with correct precession. For eg: in transformers if you have to see 2 huge robots fighting in a city 1)a real footage of some cars crashing and few blasts around some building are shot and sent to us as a video 2)CGI team works on the robots fight - we then come in and match the CHI robot to the real environment with correct precession, only then you will get the reality of them fighting..
And YES our studio is doing some work for "Ghost RIder -2" but not me, my friends are working on it,.. (ill tell you a fact - No single movie is ever done in one studio - ppl think avatar is complete;y done in WETA, but WETA will have to outsource some other studios(atleast 2-3) to finish up the work in time(ILM did few major lighting, Digital Domain(once the company was owned by James Cameron its now owned my Michael bay) did some major matchmove and VFX work, We did some rigging and modelling assist,.. Any big movie if you take(2-3 studios will work) anyone in the industry will know this.

@Zak-F - Reg the Lizard - we are working on a huge action sequence on a roof top between Lizard and Spidy, crashing helicopters and making heavy damage,.. we are working on the 3D model of LIZARD and 3D spidy(completely animated spidy)

@Zak-F - my first real project was Ghost Rider and I know the amount of special effects work that went in - it didn do well in the BO nor had any good review, almost everyone hated it(that i know of) ... You would think Night at the museum has some amazing effects but I really know how less of a VFS work that went in when you compare to other movies it was a smash hit... I recently worked on Yogi Bear(worst movie ever made, we know it when we were working on it but its a project mate). The best feeling ever was "when our studio won the Oscar for THE GOLDEN COMPASS" ... we will feel a bit worried but no time to relax or discuss, another project will hit ur desk. For Incradible Hulk and Wolfman we working day and night like Dogs but those 2 didn do well... I hope Amazing Spiderman and Transformers 3 do well in th BO..

Cool. I'm glad the're wrapping up production surprisingly fast, which leave THAT much more time for post-pro. TDK and the Superman reboot need to get rolling if they want to have a decent amount of post-pro themselves, if they're still to release by next Summer.
