While we have seen several looks at Andrew Garfield's Spidey costume throughout the production, those shots were normally taken from afar. The Amazing Spider-Man comes to theaters July 3rd, 2012 and stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Rhys Ifans, Martin Sheen, Denis Leary, Chris Zylka, Irrfan Khan, C. Thomas Howell. The film is directed by Marc Webb.

    This is to all the fans just wait until you see the movie, GOD, I mean i know there's been some upsets in the past, but hey maybe this time they pulled a Christopher Nolan move a placed Spider-man in the real world instead of the Raimi comic get-up.

    i really need to see a trailer. Some of the pics from this movie look good some look awful. After color correction and editing it will probably look awesome. I remeber thinking Thors armor looked like plastic but its amazing what they can do in post.

    if you look close at the eye you can see garfield's eye smashed up into the mask to fit (doesn't look comfortable).

    sumbody, go compare this picture with another1 of him shooting the web, (by clicking the pic above) the suit looks way diff., the blk outlines on the mask, looks more blk on the other pic than this1, it looks more grayish on this1,
    The thing that throws you off in this pic, or at least throws me off, is the fact that his mask looks like it got ran over sumwhere on a busy street, and then put the thing on. however, the face area looks clean. or "less" dirty.
    I like the idea that the suit is not pitch clean like it was on other movies, yet after all those hits & blows he took, plus fighting in bad weather and sweating in it., yet it stayed bright red.
    This1 looks like he really got into a fight or like its been warn more than onces. the eye screen looks like a door screen. , kool idea. I just hope the actor can act, and i dont mean in the suit, i mean as peter parker.

    My question has always been HOW THE F*CK DID PETER PARKER, WITH HIS SH*TTY SALARY, GET THE COSTUME MADE? Have you ever been succesful at making a halloween costume that looks this great? So calling bullsh*t on Spiderman movies ha ha ha That's all I gotta say!! =)

    Everyone is so quick to hate on newer movies. No one wants to give re-imaginings a chance. How can you judge something without the benefit of a trailer. Am I saying this movie will be good? No, but I am excited to see what they will do. Everyone complains about the suit ( Which BTW looks really similar to the comics) but no one is talking about the cool idea of the web shooters. That in my opinion will add a lot to the film and story.

    The old costum was better. and looked better too!, This1 looks, like a UFO with a thin neck. The whole head thing looks like a basketball. with all those dot-ed details. the black eye thing, looks kinda weird, and i can see his left eye, "hhe" must b a cheap mask. then again, maybe they are going the kick-ass route, in which, the costum would look fan-made. or maybe it starts out like that until he upgrades it later, no?
    Anyhow i am still not pumped for this, i would have just loved it if they brought back the same cast from the last 3. or at least the main 1s, and did a part4, with a better story., rather than having to reboot all these movies, like TDKR, fantastic four, hulk. ghost rider, transformers, and now spiderman.
    I would just pay the actors more if they will b willing to stay longer and maybe do up to part5.
