The Amazing Spider-Man Death of Uncle Ben Video

Yesterday, you saw pictures, today we get video from the most pivotal scene in The Amazing Spider-Man: The death of Uncle Ben (Martin Sheen). Which leads directly into Peter Parker's decision to become The Amazing Spider-Man. Here, we see Martin Sheen laying in the street as Andrew Garfield runs to check his pulse. There is crying and audible dialogue. The suave pirate could almost cull all of this material and make his own The Amazing Spider-Man bootleg before the film even enters the editing room. That would certainly be a first. Check out the footage below.

The Amazing Spider-Man comes to theaters July 3rd, 2012 and stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Rhys Ifans, Martin Sheen, Denis Leary, Chris Zylka, Irrfan Khan, C. Thomas Howell. The film is directed by Marc Webb.

    @moviemaniac66 Yeah, don't get me wrong. Even though Tobey is legend, i also still look forward to this reboot. Andrew Garfield is my favorite young actor alongside Gordon Levitt(Hesher, need i say more?). So this is a movie i'm looking forward to alot! I should have clarified it in my post.

    I'm going to be honest, at first i didn't like the idea of Martin Sheen as uncle Ben because his son has f* destroyed the name of their family. But now i think i was wrong to think in that sense.

    He was great in Mass Effect 2 (last job I've seen him do).

    @bruce-ha - I agree with you about Maguire as Spiderman. I hate it when people bash on him for his portrayal of Spiderman. I believe that he was the perfect choice for Peter Parker/Spiderman. Although i will miss Maguire as Spiderman, i am looking forward to seeing Garfield swing through New York as Spiderman now.

    Shouldn't be talking sh*t about Tobey Maguire. Tobey Maguire revived the superhero movies and in a way made all the new franchises a reality with his success as Spiderman. If he hadn't fitted the Spiderman role as perfect as he did then people would sh*t on superhero movies. Tobey is a legend, and no one will fit a superhero role as he fitted with Spiderman. (Excluding Christopher Reeves as Superman of course)

    When i refer to the old Spiderman movies, please know that i care only about 1 & 2. The third movie was the worst.

    BTW Comic books are always re-inventing themselves and their more popular stars like Spidey and Wolverine just to name two. How many Spider Man titles reinventions are there? Off the top of my head "Incredible, Amazing, Ultimate" just three...

    True-Believers know that Peter Parker only became the Hero Spider Man, because of not only the guilt in his uncle's death, but the fact that the one and only time Peter tried to capitalize on being Spidey, it resulted in his uncle being killed.

    it is good that he's not a maguire-esque p*ssy when it comes to the death, but he kinda took in the other direction! too deep and tough sounding for Peter Parker. Of course, I know I'm just nerd nit-picking! He Garfield does seem to have more of a pressence about him. I'm sure we'll all forget about Maguire when this comes. This whole thing is starting to grow on me...
