The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of The Unicorn Original Animated Adventure
Still a bit baffled by the Steven Spielberg directed, Peter Jackson produced Christmas release The Adventures of Tintin: Secret of the Unicorn? Well, we have the original animated adventure for you to watch, which is based on the same illustrated novel by acclaimed artist and author Hergé. The story of both the cartoon and the movie follow journalist Tintin and his dog Snowy, who buy an old model ship at a flea market as a present for their friend, Captain Haddock. When the Captain starts telling him about the exploits of a famous ancestor, and several other men have their eyes on the model and will do anything to have it for their own, our heroes learn that this is no ordinary ship. The Adventures of Tintin was released December 21st, 2011 and stars Daniel Craig, Simon Pegg, Jamie Bell, Cary Elwes, Andy Serkis, Nick Frost, Tony Curran, Sebastian Roché. The film is directed by Steven Spielberg.

All I have to say is, cool! I watched this show when I was younger and actually watched this and Red Rackham's Treasure on youtube last week with my kid. Ended up watching almost 3 hours of other Tintin episodes. Curious how the comic is Belgian based, but the voices are clearly Canadian :P

I'm wondering if the film adaption will carry on through Red Rackham's Treasure. Hmm.
I'm surprised at just how similar the cartoon is to the comic. It's a frame-by-frame creation almost. Snowy's bark is super annoying though :P Glad to see this posted :)
