In the not-so-distant future when cloning plants, pets and human organs is acceptable, Adam Gibson (Schwarzenegger) will do anything to reclaim his family and life after learning that a clone has replaced him. Taken from his family and thrown into a threatening world he doesn't understand, Adam must not only save himself from the assassins bent on protecting their secret, but uncover who and what is behind the horrible things happening to him. Before he has the chance to find out the truth, he is attacked by a squad of killers that is after him in order to hide the evidence of their cloning activities. Adam, now the only one with the power to expose the sinister corporation's evil plan, must escape and find out the truth from the creator of the clones, Michael Drucker (Goldwyn). Adam knows that he hasn't been cloned, but is unprepared for the truth that awaits him.
