In all likelihood, I'll prob catch the first hour or so, just to see if Franco and Hathaway are funny together, but after that I'll turn it off and catch the results in the morning. That's how I usually roll with the Oscars. Just watch it for the comedy factor, not really in suspense over who wins what when I can read the results in 5 minutes the next day.

Best pic? Hm that'll be a toughie.
@Diaigma i dunno Aaron Sorkin deserves an oscar finally this year. His screenplay was extraordinary

Wichy
Haha your right @Supes, but I like it :P
And @D, I know that was what I was thinking too. I might see who wins best picture though :P

I know, right, @Wichy? - once Best Animated is done, I'd probably turn the Oscars off :P

Nice list, the Annie's are gonna have some tough competition between films. I can't wait to see what the Oscars bring us!!! :P Best animated movie is probably what I am looking forward to the most, it's a tight race.

I read both books. Both films were well adapted from them.

Daveactor7
@Diaigma hm. Not sure about that. But for adapted screenplay id say the social network is taking that home

Diaigma
I'd love a best adapted screenplay nom for HTTYD - great transition from book to screen.

@Diaigma i dont know....I know for a fact his screenplay isn't getting any

Diaigma
Nolan will get his. Don't worry. I don't see Inception being his "in" though.

Daveactor7
@Supes lol HTTYD is not an underdog :P how dare you! lol jking

@Supes i have high doubts about TS3 not winning lol.
1 year agoby @daveactor7Flag
Dan
I knew Tangled, TS3, and Dragon would be up for best picture with the Annies. As long as TS3 doesn't win it, I'll be happy.

@Diaigma that is so true

Dark Knight was also the biggest/most loved movie of it's year. Look what happened to it :P
1 year agoby @diaigmaFlag
Daveactor7
@Worth agreed. But im also rooting for David Fincher this year for best directing. He needs to win this year

@Dave i was thinking about watching them because of Inception. Now I'm seeing them because three animated movies came out this year that in a normal year would be worthy of best picture nominations, and because of Inception lol
1 year agoby @mattbierwagenFlag
Daveactor7
It is like the biggest movie of this year and people loved it. Also Nolan got snagged from an oscar for the dark knight so this year that may change.
1 year agoby @daveactor7Flag
Diaigma
Since I was replying to your last comment, I would assume Inception :P
1 year agoby @diaigmaFlag
Daveactor7
@Diaigma which conclusion? lol the one about HTTYD and TS3 or ppl flocking to the oscars to see inception win something?
1 year agoby @daveactor7Flag
Diaigma
How did you draw that conclusion,@Dave? - it could get shafted, for all we know : /
1 year agoby @diaigmaFlag
Daveactor7
People are most likely going to see the Oscars this year because of Inception :P
1 year agoby @daveactor7Flag
Daveactor7
@Worth i agree

I take that back. Last year there were great films, just not best picture worthy films.

@dave And compared to last year where there were a bunch of good films but no great films, this year's gonna rock!
