Haley Bennett may star in Terrence Malick's new mystery project
We first reported on this movie last month, when Christian Bale signed on as the male lead. That report also listed a number of potential leading ladies, such as Rooney Mara, Haley Bennett, Clémence Poésy, and Mia Wasikowska. Earlier today, reports surfaced indicating that Haley Bennett landed the role, although insiders claim that another actress may still win the part.
All that is known about this project is that the male and female leads will be the driving force of the story. Terrence Malick hopes to start shooting by next summer. Sarah Green (The Tree of Life) is on board as a producer.
This should not be confused with the Untitled Terrence Malick Project, which is already in post-production.

Not familiar with her work, but it's Malick and Bale, so I'm sold. For someone with 5 directorial credits to his name over nearly the past 40 years, Malick sure has been a busy man lately. Can't wait for this.
