Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles Gets a Second Season
The explosive, season-ending cliffhanger left Cameron (Summer Glau) rocked by a car bomb and Sarah Connor (Lena Headey) close to locating an important Skynet component. Viewers were left with unanswered questions regarding Derek's (Brian Austin Green) true intentions and John's (Thomas Dekker) fate as the savior of mankind. These questions and more will be answered in season two of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.
The show currently ranks as the No. 1 new scripted series this season among Adults 18-49. The action packed series represents an exciting reinvention of the Terminator film franchise, in which the strong and intrepid Sarah discovers that protecting her son and stopping the rise of the machines is more difficult than she had ever imagined.
Produced by C2 Pictures in association with Warner Bros. Television, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles is executive produced by Josh Friedman and John Wirth. James Middleton serves as consulting producer, while Toni Graphia serves as co-executive producer and Natalie Chaidez serves as a consulting producer for the series.

I really enjoy the show and agree with AnnoyingFilmCritic. It's TV...we cant expect the same blockbuster experience as the theater. They redesigned it a bit, and it is very entertaining.

This show, in no way shape or form resembles anything of any type of Terminator!

Annoyingfilmcritic, the show is okay. My problem is not with the money, time or talent - all of those things are fine - my problem is that the characters bear no resemblance to what they're based on. Sarah Conner is nothing like the person in the movies (i.e. hard ass who will kill people who get in her way) and the Terminator girl looks scared most of the time. The show just doesn't have a complex enough story arc or character intrigue to put it on par with other quality shows.

Cool...it's a good TV show and the ratings were there to justify a second season.
Remember naysayers: comparing TV shows to their Movie counterparts is like comparing apples to oranges. Movie productions have more money, time and talent to create with.
