Hmmmmmm, a movie based on a martial arts video game? Did we not learn anything from "Dead or Alive"? "Street Fighter"? "Mortal Kombat"? C'mon folkes, the kids are tired of the same old crap!!

If they wanna make a hell of a video game movie, give me the rights to something like Mechwarrior and i'll pen the script for them... i'd make it a classic retelling of Mech 3... that game was awesome... hell even MechAssault would be a great movie... you need a video game with plenty of source material, the possibility of an expansive universe, and you've got to abide by the strict rules of how the games are, you lose that and you've lost the movie.
Mortal kombat, whilst they did provide a -short- story to each character, focused purely on a few fighters, and also things didnt work out in the movie as to the game, which disappointed viewers.
Tekken, there is a bit of source out there for a certain character, but it's not Jin Kazama... i definitely have my doubts already about this movie... unless Namco can expand on Jin during the events of Tekken 3-Tag-4 ect... Flop.
PS: Bloodrayne was just terrible... i fell alseep after pressing play on the menu... Postal would have been hella funny, but even though the budget blew out, the movie only came out in russia... uwe boll failed us once again :( I challenge him to ... A STREET FIGHTING no rules match... stuff this boxing stuff :P

These video game movies never seem to work out well. This sounds like a good idea but will most likely suck big time.
